Pacman get KO'd in version 4 of this fight the same way he KO'd Hatton several years ago.

Much like Hatton was, Manny was hit flush and was completely out cold.

It was a very good fight with Pacquiao being knocked down earlier in the fight but he came on in the 5th and knocked down Marquez. But Pacquiao needs to retire IMO. A fight with Mayweather seems pointless now...except they would both get to line their pockets.

People will say that Marquez was juicing for the fight but I don't buy it. He has Pacquiao's number.

Yup, and the sad reality is he wouldn't have been anywhere close to the best fighter when the fabulous four were in their hayday. Duran, Hearns, SRL, and Hagler all would have beaten him, the last three with ease. While with Duran it would have been a slow and painful beat down.

It's not really fair to compare any boxer today with another who fought when the sport was thriving. The fact that no boxers today in any weight class seem on par with those from 20 years ago is simply a reflection of the deterioration of the sport as a whole.

That said, Mayweather is the best P4P fighter of his generation.

That was a hell of a punch. Hopefully there are no long term effects from it but I am sure he has already take a few good ones to the head.

I like Pacquiao and how he would never back down and fought the way he did.

Pacquiao got hit with a clean powerful shot. It's not a lucky shot, Pacquiao lost fair and square... but he could've done the same thing to Marquez. That's boxing. Saying that Pacquiao is done is maybe a little premature. Hell of a fight though!!!

Its not really very fair to compare him to boxers who were bigger than him Mayweather is a lightweight Hearns Leonard and Duran were Welterweights and Hagler was a middleweight

Mayweather fights up to 154lbs which is light middleweight. He would be undersized compared to the bigger guys like Hearns and Hagler but he would be right in the mix with those guys for sure. That era was definitely the golden age for the welterweight-middleweight divisions.

Very entertaining fight with their back and forth. Looked like he damn near killed him with that final shot!

Apparently you don't know much about boxing. Duran was a lightweight, any only went into the higher divisions we he got older. He was 70-1 (give or take a fight) before leaving the lightweight division. And Mayweather is definately a bigger guy than Duran is. Duran was 5'6", Mayweather's about 5'9" or so. As for fair, Mayweather's naturally bigger than Pac and he's naturally bigger than JMM.

An inch here and an inch there and suddenly there is a bigger disparity than really exists. I have been an avid boxing fan forever and followed Duran since he beat Escalera. Duran is a legit 5'7". Boxers aren't like vertically challenged football QBs where they fudge the stats and give tham an extra inch or 2 in height in their description. Mayweather is 5'8"...very noticeably shorter than De La Hoya.
Mayweather is pretty much the same size Duran was and much like Duran, he has moved up in weight as he has aged.

The size difference between the 2 is one of a few reasons Mayweather would easily beat Pacquiao.

I stand by my original statement Mayweather is more of a natural lightweight physically than Duran was but yes he is bigger than Pac and JMM and he wouldn't have had any problem beating either of them but he is a giant scumbag

$ 10 Million at the gate + more than 1.2 Million PPV buys at about $ 60 = Pacquiao vs. Marquez V ;)

Harry Potter and the Twilight franchises have already ended but the saga of this profitable boxing franchise continues. lol :yield:
