PA Meeting (March 26th) Thoughts

Perb Party

I remenber the good old days ! I think the original concept of perb party was initiated by then Vanman and other well intended perb members which since have retired or left the board. I am glad to say I attended the original onces and some susequently. I have great memory of the T shirts and prize Vanman brought to the member. I also met Freedy who since now retired with a happy relationship with a very lucky lady. He came down from Edmondon to attend the party. Alex, Paige Adam, Sara, Lisa Giggle, and other well know sp including then Victoria who went to pursuded a porn career. I still keep in touch with her throught MSN.

The Perb Party was to really to allow members to get together and put faces into handles. I like the oppotunity to meet some of the well reviewed and yet to be reviewed lady gather in a non-business social gathering. For me , it allowed the opporutnity to connect with some sp who you want to meet in a sp - client relationship but coudnt for whatever reasons.

Its really a win win event. Often you dont get to connect with others till is too late. At least, the gathering allow the final factor if you will to make the ultimate decision to see the sp.

Of coarse, you also get to see other non-sp members who you can chat about the hobby or whatever you have in mind.

As for fall out, I guess there were some, but people are people. I have chosen not to get myself in any drama here ! It is really a matter of self control. After all, this is a fantasy for me, and last thing I need is to ruin my fantasy by getting involve in any drama.

I sitll think there is a value in perb party; Unfortunately, I can not help organizae it as my time in vancouve has become limited.

But by all means if anyone want to take the torch like Vanman did several years ago, go ahead.

Make it a costume party and the ones that don't wear one are the ppl like me, who doesn't care who knows what about their life .I'm the same on here as in real life. All the rest can dress up and be whomever they want, just like perb. But if JJ goes as a proctoligist, don't bend over by him

no but seriously, I'm not trying to discourage people from arranging get togethers, they can be a lot of fun.

Just remember to keep private anything you would normally keep private while on the board, if you don't share your real name on Perb or in emails, chats etc, then dont do it at a PA
If you have a unique physical characteristic that could compromise your anonymity then don't flaunt it or tell people about it just because you're face to face and feel like they're your buddy.

If you don't care what people know about you or who you are that's cool too.

Just use your common sense.

Anyone can hold a PA meeting. You don't need Vanman or SWGuy to do all the work for you. All it takes is for someone to say "I'm going to be at so-and-so place/time" and "who wants to join me for a drink"
