So many memories of his days with Black Sabbath and his solo career. Loved his music. His his legacy will live forever.
Just a couple weeks after the final Black Sabbath performance too. I really think he was just holding on long enough to be able to say goodbye on his own terms. Watching that set was touching, he was clearly in a lot of pain and had to be seated in a throne due to his severe Parkinson's, but he managed to get through it, sometimes letting the audience carry it for him. RIP Madman.

I wasn't ever into Black Sabbath. I was vaguely aware they had kicked him out, or he had kicked them to the curb. However, when he came out with Crazy Train he found God or something. Left Black Sabbath in the dust. Amazing catalogue of really excellent kick ass tunes. Life fully lived, I guess.

Ozzy and Black Sabbath were the pioneers of Heavy Metal. His vocals were incredible with Sabbath. The live version of War Pigs from Paris in 1970 is really mind blowing. Sad day to see him pass away.
RIP Ozzy! Another music legend gone.
