Question for you. I was recently asked (by a well known and well reviewed SP), after landing on a date and time of an appointment, as to whether I would prefer to send an e-transfer before coming OR to choose from one of the other two options to either provide my employment information through a linked in profile or a company website that shows my picture, or to send a photo of government issued ID beside a piece of paper with today's date on it. Am I crazy to think this is insanely public information to be sharing, particularly for a hobby that many are doing very discretely? I get that each SP should be able to set their own rules and comfort levels, but very unfortunate as this now becomes a real barrier for someone that I have been dying to see.

That seems a bit much. I’d be okay to send a small deposit via etransfer if it was someone I knew was real but definitely not anything to do with employment… or my ID with my address and personal info.

Never share your personal information. You can get blackmailed or this information can get in the wrong hands. I haven't seen an SP willing to share her own photo ID or real information. It should be a fair game.

The risk is not worth the reward, you can see other girls without endangering yourself. No one should take the position of power in this transaction.

Would she go for the visa debit cards you can get in stores? That may cover the same bases as an etransfer.

I look at it from a different perspective. You’re concerned about her and your personal information. Similarly, she’s concerned about you and your personal information. You don’t know each other and there’s always the safety factor. If she is reviewed and sounds like she is a good choice, then you perhaps need to provide her some safety insurances if you want to meet her for some time together.

Good day Mate

Just send an E-transfer .. and only to a reputable SP ..
**** Never send a e-transfer to a flash in the pan SP ****
You can alter your bank name etc .. Problem solved .. worse case .. you're out a few hundred bucks .. big deal

Never give any I.D .. Never ..
If the SP doesn't like it .. ohh well .. Next .. its not like she`s the only one in town

Cheers
And that’s your right to do. I know of a few absolutely wonderful ladies who would decline you for that reason, though. I’m more than happy to provide a photo of my driver’s license if I intend on setting up an appointment and they are well reviewed. It definitely helps to keep them safe, plus my experience is it is greatly appreciated you’re showing a concern for their safety.
