Operation Repo - Do you watch this show?

Lately I've been taking an interest in "Operation Repo". It's shown on the OLN.

The premise of the show is it's a real life showing showing a reposession company going and reposessing peoples vehicles. They always show the repo's that have action/violence, etc.

I'm wondering if these are staged for tv or if they are the real thing? The repo's use their real name and they are shown in the credits.

Any thoughts/feedback? Anybody else watch the show ?

I agree for here4fun, I watched it a couple times, thought ohhh wow, this is funny. One where the guy actually has a black eye and gets hit by a tire iron... But then the next episode, there's a guy in a chicken outfit, followed by a girl in her wedding dress, then a guy in a spock outfit (who couldn't act worth sh$t by the way)....YEAH RIGHT. It would take 10 years of filming to find one dude in a chicken outfit.

It's just another reality tv show...gay as hell I might add...

The only show that caught my interest for a bit was the "Deadliest Catch".

In the end, it's all a waste of time...

they say its based on actual events that they act out, but being that its from hollywood they always had drama and violence and call it based on a true story. sometimes life isn't that interesting and thats where hollywood comes in

Is this the Repo one where they have the mexican or spanish family running it? The big mexican lady has some crazy ass eyebrows, and is just damn right scary looking.

The problem with the show is they try to make it look like a reality show in the style of cops, however if you pay attention at the start of the show they do the disclaimer where they state that all events are reenactments based on a true story as other posters have said. Personally for me that just makes the show stupid, because you know some hicks who cant read must think this is as real as wraslen.

I think the real "assholes" are people who live beyond their means, buy shit on credit that they can't afford, don't make their payments (but continue to use the shit they "bought"), then get all indignant when the rightful owners (the banks) come for their property. Don't want to get embarrassed at work? Pay for your shit! Live within your means! The culture of living on borrowed prosperity combined with the attitude of entitlement makes me sick. You wonder why we just went through the biggest financial meltdown in history? This show (real or not doesn't matter) is a microcosim of what is wrong with easy/irresponsible debt.

The show is stupid, but the people who act like having the car keys is the same as owning the car make me sick. You don't own it until you pay for it. You signed a fucking contract with the lender before you drove away. Maybe you should read the terms of the contract. I'm pretty sure that making payments is in there somewhere...

Mr.Boggo, if them people didn't want to be humiliated in front of the coworkers then they should have made the payments, or voluntarily gave the vehicle back to the finance company
