Opening a massage studio

Hey everyone. I've been in the "spa" business pretty much all my life - the legit end of things. I know what goes into a really great space, from decor to lighting to music.

When I go to places for pooning, I am always disappointed in the environment - from dirty carpet to really bad music (if any at all). I'm no snob, but I do like my simple luxuries and cleanliness.

I've been seriously considering upping my take-home pay by opening a studio in the right location with all the trappings of a decent place to go, like clean space, great music, friendly girls trained in good customer service and little touches like disposable slippers, men's grooming supplies, a little post-service chill out room and other guy-friendly touches you find at fine salons and spas.

Here are a questions to any of you who may know...

- Will the mafia beat the crap out of me on the first night?
- Is it impossible to hire staff, even if you offer better pay?
- Do Vancouver pooners care about this kind of thing (lots of spas from Toronto have opulent interiors and front desk staff you might find at 5 star hotels, and they are packed).

Thanks, fellow pooners!
