Of all the endearents an SP can whisper to me, the one that sounds the dumbest and least sincere is "baby". Seems to be a staple of Asian SP's .

Anyone else like or hate certain things SP's use as generic, meaningless attempts to connect?

When a client calls you for the first time and his first three sentences contain all these words of endearment "honey" "sexy" "baby" "sweety" ....... makes me wonder:doh:. The quality of the conversation in these cases almost always are quite funny ....

I love it when the extremely polite gentlemen call and ask if they are speaking to Miss Monroe :)

All of them - baby, honey, lover, daddy, papi, they are basically placeholders for the fact that she already forgot your name. It's the opposite of a connection, it's not a term of endearment in this case. A top lady will remember your name and use it.
I hate to break it to you, Mitch but, half the time, the guys can't even remember what name they're using today!

I find that I have a slightly different vocabulary in text, than in person, and am more likely to use Hun. And I have a cozier vocabulary period, once I know my visitor a little better, in text and in person. So, if I were to call you Sweetie, I would mean it! It would not indicate that I'd forgotten your name! :pound:

How is this for one. When you get a text back "I had such a great time...what was your name again..."

Rhyming Paul Simon had sung at his satirical best... "You can call me Al."

Actually I have a best bud named "Al", so maybe not.....
