Curious if anyone's ever tried any of the online dating such as Adult Friend Finder and what if any success they've had. For those that have tried it too, did you find it a waste of time and just a bunch of gamers on those systems?

To be honest, that was my experience when I tried it out a few years ago when it was free, so certainly didn't and don't have any incentive trying it now now that it's all pay...

And also, I suppose some or even a good proportion of the adds bring to mind the old maxim of if it's too good to be true it is...

I agree with you, Prospero. I tried it years ago when it was still free. Now you have to pay for the service.
I tried before and hooked up with an asian SP. I felt stupid now that I was tricked into the bait. I agreed to see her via emails. It was an outcall to my resident, she was not bad looking at all, but after I paid her the $$ which we both agreed on, she only gave me a lame massage and she kept asking me if I wanted the FS, I told her that the $$ was for the FS, but my little head did the work and finally I paid extra 80 for the FS, she was very distanced and showed disinterest. And also rushing me to finish by saying not much time left...
That was one bad experience I had...I therefore, very careful in selecting to see outcall SP's

I was on with AFF for several months some years back. I found that a) most users were from back east and b) the few that were local were more into playing games than anything else.

Also, like the old Blind Date website, alot of 'escorts' (I'll call them that, but with their advertising methods...I might be giving real escorts a bad name...)... use the site, pretending (some more, some less) to be something other than a regular person looking for friendship or a hook up.

I never tried FF (the non adult version), but I suspect similiar demographics. It prolly doesn't have the problem with (or as much) fake profiles/business profiles... but I'm not sure if it is worth it.

Yes renting a puppy is cheaper than "adopting" a 12 year old kid the way Hugh Grant did in About a Boy.

On Robson Street, near the Salvatorre Ferragamo shoe store, in the mid 1990s at night would be this woman who would walk her duck! Put it in a stroller and roll it down the busy street. Dress it up, dress herself up. Like Little Bo Peep.

I wonder if she still does it.

Back to the original topic now that I have stopped laughing about the duck. There are tons of ladies using the ashley madison site and lava life site.These are the married ones who mostly want to stay that way. I have met several, most have been a pleasant surprise.
