Wow, some fucked up attitudes on this forum. Makes you wonder if the hooker serial killer in Edmonton has an account here ?

People get fucked up in life and fall down. They do stupid things. None of it gives you reason to choke them to death. Nor get away with it.

We're all just a few bad times away from being "desperate"
After reading a few more sides to the story...my earlier opinion was a little hasty. No body deserves to die a horrible fate like that.

But, at the same time...people should be tried in a reasonable time, 14 months in prison waiting on guilty or innocent is a little inexcusable.

Manslaughter charges are a joke when it comes to the length of sentencing. Strangulation seems more like third degree murder rather than self defense or manslaughter. Its a shame that was the charge.

Regardless of if you are drunk or high...people need to be held responsible for what actions they carry out. To often people are given a free ride because they chose to drink or get high and events occured without their full control. The victim chose to get high and chose to enter that person's residence.

Personally...seems like nobody really won in this case. And justice...whatever that is really did fail.
