I think the biggest factor in feeling disappointment with anything in life is comparison. When we enter into an experience with too much of a specific expectation. With too clear of a specific scenario, we are setting ourselves up for disappointment.
An experience can be even better than we had envisioned, but because there is a dissonance between our fantasy, and the reality, people will often feel disappointed because it wasn’t exactly as they had envisioned. ESPECIALLY if the scenario has been a fan to see that they have been running during Palmala Handerson time.
This irony isn’t specific to any industry. It goes with every area of life.
The more we try to control the situation or envision it being a very specific way, the more likely we are to be disappointed because there are always variables.
I feel like the best advice to give you for the specific situation, or for life in general is to enter into situations with an open mind and intent to enjoy. Without there being specific stipulations onto how exactly that will play out.
