The lineups may be long, but it's important

I took advantage of the advanced voting method .
Tomorrow night, hopefully, some of us will be welcoming in a new Prime Minister. :clap2:

The polls open at 7. I'm getting up a 5:30, grabbing a Tim's and going for it.
The only way I could be more Canadian is if I wore a toque and a Mac and carried a hockey stick.

Beverly Hills. In the Kitchen eatin' vittles.
Yes, please get out and vote. But also be an informed voter.
As much as we complain at times, we are very fortunate to live in one of the greatest countries in the world.
I'm sure we all have had relatives die over the past 150 years defending not only our country but democracy against tyranny and oppression.
Do not disregard their sacrifice and the sacrifice by the men and women currently serving us.
There are countries where people walk 10's of miles and wait in line for hours under the threat of harm to vote.
I will always remember talking to people in Eastern Europe when I was there after the fall of the USSR. How happy and optimistic they were to finally live in a democracy and have the right to vote freely.
To borrow from a famous quote "I may not agree with how you vote but I'll die defending your right to vote freely how you choose."

Cheers
JB

right here and now
Voting should be an obligation, not just a right or a privilege.
Vote your conscience- be as informed as you can- everyone has different priorities for what's important to them.
But at the end of the day the system and structure will remain a mess- as usual. Same shit in different piles.

It took less than ten minutes from parking my car, voting, back to car.

No excuses accepted!

Just like Australia, where you get fined if you don't vote. I think it's a good idea.
