Olympics coming = price hike?

No way. My regulars get first dibs and will stay at whatever they are used to paying. No girl in her right mind will mess with her bread and butter.
I doubt I will be putting my prices up for the Olympics.
Even if I did... locals/board members would pay the rates I am at now. I have regulars that started seeing me when I was at a lower price point, that pay those old rates

Ginders always amaze me. Who cares!! If they wanna raise them and you can't afford them, that's your problem. It's 2 or 3 weeks out of your life. Suck it up!
Ya, but what if he's got a sore arm, or isn't flexible enough to suck it up himself ? Two to three weeks without blowiing his load could lead to some severe backup.
Every lady is going to manage her business the way she feels suits her best.
Personally, I prefer quality over quantity, and am not able to provide both. Therefore, am choosing not to actively target Olympic visitors, as I would much rather ensure the suitors I have an established repoire with, and new local gentlemen who aren`t looking for a one time liaison are properly taken care of. I would never increase my considerations on established gentleman friends, and my current price point seems to draw in a demographic that I am best suited for. Increasing my considerations for the few weeks would certainly ensure my numbers for February would be stellar, however, that would be at the expense of having the opportunity to spend time with those whose friendship I truly value, and I`m just not willing to do that.
If your favourite Vancouver escorts do raise their considerations for this month, I`m quite sure some of the international escorts and visiting courtesans will need some local loving ;-)
There certainly appears to be a deluge of ladies visiting this month, and I hope everybody had a fabulous time!

Why does everyone try to use textbook economics to explain SP pricing? How do SP's arriving by the plane cause a price increase?
I thought about it, but I am wavering towards keeping things the same. I am fine with the prices I charge and I do ok financially, so it makes no sense at this time. I don't even think I will be that busy. There will be so many working girls in this city, that I am sure that it will even out to exactly what it is now, lol

I also want to comment, that I do not predict the Olympics to be as profitable as many girls seem to think it will be.
Things to keep in mind:
There will be many working girls from other provinces/countries coming here, thinking they will go for gold
Many visitors will be with families... and would find it inapropriate or impossible to sneak away to see an SP.
If the phone is busy.. chances are that it will be late at night, and/or there will be drunk/high callers. Unless an SP is willing to work late, and see inhebriated clients, it may not be as busy as expected.
I'm not saying that there won't be visitors enquiring about our services... I am just saying that I don't predict it wil stupendous. I prefer to see less clients a day than more, anyway.

I felt like someone caught me contemplating raising rates for the olympics when i read this thread . ! How embarrassing.
I won't be, BUT I have to admit, i have a huge fear of "hockey playoffs fever syndrome" where every man and his little man friend are satisfying their testostorone overflow with sports..
I don't know about you lady's, but, it's famine not feast for me when Canucks make the playoffs and i still wonder,..."Do I NEED to raise my rates?"
It's OBVIOUS though that a return gentleman should still get the regular donation rates, but really, for the gentlemen from out of town who are from places where the going rates are higher for the same level of service I provide, why shouldn't I raise it for them. I DON'T WANT to be treated like a great bargain by them. ........(now i'm just rambling).
Final answer? No price hike. As long as U GUYS ( local pooners ) don't dissapear on me for 2 weeks...

Luv, AshIt's a business after all and it's driven by supply and demand. Hate to see it, but if the gals see more clients coming it I don't see any problem for them to raise the rate.
OTOH if there are more transient gals coming in they may just have to keep the price the same/lower just to stay competitive.

Maybe not for higher-end/pricier girls, but my guess is that the AMP's/micros and lower-price CL girls will be flooded.
