Maggie McNimarra starred opposite David Niven in a then-testy for the times movie titled "The Moon Is Blue." She was a gamin type similar to Audrey Hepburn in many ways. She set my loins a'burnin'. (Back in THOSE days one's teenaged loins just had to keep burning.) Talk about a "fucked-up society" with its prevailing Victorian attitude to sex. Back to Maggie. She took the movie world by storm and I believe she never made another movie. Stacked up against the Betty Grable, Jane Russell and Rita Hayworth Hollywood types, Maggie alone rattled my cage.

And speaking of cages. A little more current is Elizabeth Shue. Starred as the hooker in "Leaving Las Vegas" with Nicholas Cage. Now she is/was some piece of work I'd love to sensually entwine. Something about her that made me really sit up and take notice and still does in reruns.
