Been going to the gym 4-5 days a week and losing 500 calories each workout. Surprisingly the ab machines do work. Looking more leaner from the threadmill, stairmaster, bikes and weights.

I lose about 1200 calories each time during an old fashion sex workout...... Surprisingly, some of these gorgeous sex 'machines' do work.

I'm looking leaner from climbing onto the 'machine', and then very heavy and rapid pelvis action, up and down like frantic push ups, and lifting double or even triple DDDs.---sweating the weight off 'till exhaustion..----- Life doesn't get any better than this.

Not trying to be rude or insult any one.

five hundred calories a thousand.

you should try cycling to work, one way for me is about four thousand calories.

Sorry but I can't resist poo pooing all those gym rats.

Calories used > calories eaten. Do more, eat less. Do a lot more and eat the same. Do the same and eat a lot less. There are lots of ways to accomplish the goal. Find your base metabolic rate and then set yourself a calorie target goal for the day that creates a deficit. That's the true old fashioned way to lose weight.

Also don't forget to lift some weights to go with your cardio. Building muscle is a pretty effective way to burn fat.

I don't know what kind of fantasy world you live in.
lol, read his posts, it will all become clear

plus he just didn't mention that he lives 60miles from work, uphill both ways with snow all year round and a head wind on the way and way back, :)

One hour of cycling at racing speeds, that's greater than 20mph, for a guy 205lbs is 1489 calories burned. I don't know what kind of fantasy world you live in, that you're going to burn 4000 calories riding your bike to work and be able to do anything once you got to work.
who said anything about one hour.
i have a garmin gps and that is what the calorie count says for my height weight and age, and its not even close to one hour. its over two,, the calorie count is 38 hundred something.
the k's are forty almost on the nose,

My work is at the opposite end of the city where I live on purpose,
This isn't my first rodeo, I have been cycling to work since I was diagnosed with cancer over twenty years ago.
I have slowly built up the milage over the years.
This isn't even my peak, Im fucking old.

My buddy trains for iron man competitions his name is in the record books for his age.
That is the kind of guys I hang out with,
And when I tell them the milage I do, they stop and wonder who is this guy
they compete I don't.

Seriously four k for caliories is nothing for a guy who has trained for it for years.
Well I shouldn't say nothing. at the start of the sesson I am shit when I get to work.
but a few weeks in that changes.
I have been doing it for over twenty years.

You should hang out with high milage guys on the bike path or hang out with people who run marathons and iron mans.

At my work of the guys who bike to work Im not even tops,
The guy that leads the milage competion, lives out of town, he rides year round, I think like over 80 k's into work his wife drives him home.

You should actually know what is possible first and what people actually do,

I have met old guys on the bike path retired and that is all they do is ride there bike, you should try and keep pace with them one day, shit they can move,

Seriously I am slow and old,
But people who know nothing think Im hard core,

and to be honest Im slowly down.

Learn to read, you would have to cycle nearly 3 hours at racing speed to burn over 4000 calories. What about the trip back? Another 4000 calories? That's 8000 calories. According to you, you're not exactly built like a greyhound, so explain to me, how can you expend that much energy and not be rail thin. And you're pushing 60? You talk about how old you are out of one side of your mouth, and now you're this superman when it suits you. So, which is it, because it can't be both.
you learn to read,
i cycle over two hours to work

i am not 205 either.
i type in the numbers and that is what the garmin gps spits out.

The trip back I take a short cut, the way there I go the long way.

I cycle over three hours a day, both ways but I cheat on the way home.

That isn't even close to what I did when I was in my peak

When I was at my peak I cycled over five hours a day plus work a eight hour day.
And people just looked and there mouth dropped,
Im old Im only up to just over three hours a day, at the moment.

You should know what the hell your talking about.

I posted somewhere once,
anything worth doing
is worth doing well,
be the best.

Anything you like doing you should do it well.

Like I said people think Im hard core,
but they don't know shit ten years ago, I was hard core, now Im just old.

Look at it this way
It is not excercise for me,
it never was,

its meditation therapy.
I had a lot of anger angst in me,
I enjoyed getting out on the bike path and just going
I had no idea what I was doing or how far I was going.

Until I met a guy who regularly ran iron mant competitions, and his jaw just dropped I was training more then he was. and like I said he was in the record books.
I started seeing hookers and it was all down hill from there. funny.
But I lost it for a few years, and had injuries,
Im trying to get back into it build my milage up again,
but its not excercise at all.
its just what I do,

Your weigt is wrong, if there is an error in your calculation on my calorie count, im not 205 that is where it is in your weight your using.
i have no locker access at work, which means I carry a complete change of clothes, including heavey work shoes.
food water even a book to read and a sketch book that I like to draw in.

its fucking dam heavy my back pack, and so am I eat like a pig.
this is the first year Im actually trying to loose weight.

my point in all this, is.
we got lost in an arguement sorry

if you think of it as an excercise your screwed.
