I will hold fire on referring to what happened at this agency while I see if HD can resolve the problem.

But as to calling me "spiteful", "vindictive", "one-man vendetta". Puhleez! Spare us!

I started ONE thread on this topic. There followed a number of responses from the agency which appeared to me to be vindictive to say the least. I posted a very reasoned reply even apologising in part if my assumptions about what had gone on between the escort and the agency had been wrong.

The next day I log on to find the thread has been deleted. I simply ask why. It then transpires that no reasons were given and that when one poster had asked why it was deleted, his very question was deleted.

So, yes, I was angry at that point. Angry over what transpired at the agency as well as at YOU. I was determined to overcome this blatant and unexplained censorship.

But as I said, I am willing to hold off on referring to this particular agency while I see if they will respond to my concerns.

By the way, just to make it clear to you and anyone who holds your opinions, I HAVE NO VENDETTA against this agency. I want them to succeed. Why wouldn't I? The more happy men and women in the world, the safer and saner it is for us all.

Oh, and when you say the majority saw my post as vindictive - Lord only knows what you're basing that on. From pms and the balance of replies I think most readers understood what I wrote.

Hey DD,

I've tried to forget all about this. I was simply trying to warn others about my experience; I was posting the review I wish I had been able to read before I went there. The way things stand I will never go back to IB which we are both glad about. As for Mr. Mod, I am restricting my participation on PERB from now on to banter - I never took his personal criticism seriously anyway.

One general point I'd like to make is, although I definitely did NOT use any insulting or abusive language, I do support a zero tolerance policy of such language when directed at SPs or owners. This is because they are identifiable individuals. Even though they have personal lives under their own name, their "business personae" are a huge part of their lives. When I see some of the posts directed to this anonymous Internet character called "Mookie" I find them hysterical. SPs and owners do not have this luxury.

Shall send you a PM if I have any more thoughts on your post.

Hello everyone (and I am not addressing anyone in particular since I've received a few pm's critical of my style)

Lets make this clear... I have NO mandate to protect free speech. My mandate is to protect citizens of PERB and PERB itself from threatening or potentially voilatile situations. The same mechanisms that get a few threads deleted are also protecting yourselves as well as innocents.

As far as I know, PERB has no legal defence fund, but if any of you would like to start one by giving a sizeable donation to Fred, I'm sure I can look the other way while you present a "factual and unbiased review" but dont come to me when the stakes get higher then your own comfort levels.

A quick look around at some other boards will show that when left unchecked, arguments spill over into personal lives. I've seen more then my fair share of casualties. I'm sure many here could tell you about them. Sorry, but not on my shift.

For those that are adamant, there are alternatives. There are unmoderated groups around on the net where you can voice your opinions on any conceivable subject you can think of. May I suggest that if freedom of speech at the expense of the safety of others is that important to you , that you may find yourself a group you can call home.
