Trump is a misogynistic, homophobic, racist and egotistical pig. He has done nothing to help the American people, and all he has done is line his own pockets. He is the worst president in US history. He stole the last election, because everyone knows that Hillary received every vote. People are finally waking up to how great the Democratic Party have been the last three and a half years. Joe Biden can literally sleep his way to a landslide victory in the 2020 election. They can all rest assured that the media pushing to ban opposing views from YouTube, Facebook and Twitter like they do in China is the best way to ‘Make America Great Again’. Justice will also come for all the people in the DOJ who were spying on the Trump campaign during the last election. Biden, like the good ole’ boy that he is will make sure it is all swept under the rug. Because Biden has a lot of experience getting things done to protect ‘The Swamp’ in the good old USA.

Sadly the "fake news" news is congress's fault. They had allowed media outlets to be bought by people who have their own political agenda's to push. The extreme is you have right wing on one side and CNN on the other side. There is no neutral ground it seems. This corresponds to Republican and Democratic party lines. Polarization of politics and news.
The founding fathers of America wanted the separation of church and state. The idea was a free press, not hampered by politics or religion.
Religion has creeped slowly back into the state. Look at abortion in the US, in 1972 Roe vs Wade, gave woman the right to have an abortion. Every republican state (empahsis on Right wing Christian idealists/fanatics) has outlawed abortion clinics under their state laws or has made it impossible for a woman to get a quick abortion, which is her right. If you think Islam is a fanatical religion, right wing Christian ideaology is just as repungant.

I agree that many Americans see no future scenario where their current financial situation will be significantly improved . So, therefore, they prefer anarchy to reasonable rule of law/government and who better to bring on anarchy than the king of anarchy, Trump?
America really is in a fucked up state. For a significant portion of the American population, the American dream has become to not move backwards finacially. This is the first generation, or possibly second generation, depending on how long you think a generation is, where the financial situation of the next generation is not expected to improve over the previous generation.
My hope and current belief is that enough Americans have not given up hope on "the system" and will vote Biden in. I guess we will see if I am correct in November.

He might run on a platform of martial law and protest bans, and there are enough scared Magats for him to win.

2)Trudeau travelled to Africa in February seeking support for a UN seat for Canada. Covid-19 was NO PRIORITY even in February. The UN seat was his priority!
3) On Feb 1st (Chinese lunar year celebration), Trudeau warned against the rise of discrimination as fears of the coronavirus spread. "Racism" was the worry not Covid-19. The dumb racism warning was repeated by his incompetent Chief Medical Officer, Theresa Tam.
4)Trudeau agreed to "self -isolation" for returning travellers, only in April.
5) He donated 16 tons of scarce PPE to China on Feb 5th.
6) Liberal government permitted the outsourcing of our entire medical supplies industry to a far-away communist dictatorship (which then suspended exports in February) and even today we are still short supplies!

Just over 7000 deaths in Canada and counting, with the vast majority in Quebec and Ontario, most likely due to early spring break in those two provinces and those people travelling to the US.
