I have an idea, why don't we build a wall, a really really big beautiful wall, and get Trump to pay for it? We will need that wall to stop all the Americans when they try to escape the death trap Trump is creating in the US.

So, since the U.S, obviously, is our main trading partner, it does and will affect Canada. On the other side of the coin and I have stated this here before, and that is.....I still say Trump will again take control of the oval office again for another term. My prediction, anyway.

One cannot luse logic on/with a tRump supporter. I tried the other day, the person made a post with an incorrect comparison that was easily disputed. So I quoted the actual numbers/facts for the comparison posted. The reply I got back was " why does everyone use that same defense?"

Nothing that President Trump does surprises me. He's a Good Ol' American boy.
Prob never before has there been a better known presidential candidate. He had a ubiquitous TV personality. His (mis)management skills were beyond famous/infamous.
The GOP had plenty of deep thinking intellectual types they could have nominated. And the voters could have elected Hillary.
But they didn't. Anyone following the election could have predicted exactly what kind of a President they'd get with Trump. They can't complain when they got precisely what they voted in.

We definitely know where you stand given your consistent praise for Trump but the reality is that neither Trump or Obama will be seen as Traitors or Patriots.
Trump will be seen as self serving and a Redneck racist who contibuted to more deaths of American citizens than any wars and Obama will just be forgotten. History doesn't mean anything to Trump Supporters other than another fake news story if few claim him to be a Patriot as you consider him to be.
I like to see Stupid Trump win again this November but with senate turning Democrat. There will be so many investigations of him that the world will see who he really is. And perhaps, impeach him again.. That would be so hilarious!!
It could be very entertaining but it would be very bad for the American people. I am reminded by the expression "fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me". If the American people vote Trump in again, first, I will be very surprised, but second, I will come to the conclusion that there is absolutely no hope for America. And Canada had better start making strong aliances with the rest of the world.
