A great read on the lives of Porn Star is "The other hollywood" by Legs Mcneil
It is a documentary about the history of porn dating as back as early as the 1950's. It has great exerpts from most of thoes that were involved in those eras. It touches a lot on the boom and the "deep throat" era as well.
It is one of my favorite books. Have Fun!
