I stooped working last year and open my agency. I decided to send couple of my girls to Vancouver. My opinion, they are gorgeous. Better looking then me LOL
Guess what in 3 days they had 3 appointments.
So i dont get it???? Why???? Is Vancouver that slow? Toronto was slow as well... so whats going on?

Its ok but just looks rather bland actually boring.
Easy to just click and move on.

A couple of times a year I just go and look at escort sites and ads mostlly high end world wide.
But if you want my honest opinion the site looks like rather on the low end of the spectrum.

Nothing wrong with it but just doesn't grab ones attention.

I like the membership idea but you have no idea what you get with joining and being a member except being spamed for the rest of your life.

Good web sites. You know well because it just takes your time to go through and look, and there interesting you want to take the time and read and look at the pictures they just draw you in with curiosity.

Site is fine - I connected on mobile. Rates are fine. Girls are gorgeous. I never knew you were in town or anything about your agency. Probably the same for many others. Just need more advertising and review links do help

There is another recent thread discussing a general slow down presently in the industry. The upshot is that many of the clients are feeling the effects of an economic downturn and a general increase in taxes/fees reducing disposable income. Reliable providers with good reputations are not feeling the effects as much as lesser known quantities.

For myself, a recent change in circumstances has left me with less disposable funds. I have no issue paying the going rate for a known quantity, but no longer have the funds to risk looking for that "gem". For me to call a travelling girl, I would have to be re-assured, by means of reputation, reviews etc, of the likelyhood of value for money.

Economic conditions have resulted in a lot of girls hanging out a shingle without the attitude/desire/skills to provide an experience commensurate with the money they are asking for. I have the feeling that unknown travelling girls are simply flying into town to make as much as they can without any thought to repeat business as they are leaving shortly anyway. If I do take a chance, it would be on a local girl who I feel is trying to establish herself. But mostly, I limit myself to those women which I know will make me a happy man.

Personally I would see a well reviewed Independent before checking out an agency girl without any reviews and costing the same as the Indy. IMHO there have been reviews about some agency girls that were not exactly glowing.

So like others have said - advertise and get some kick ass reviews up and your biz will grow.

BTW I spend at least that much on 90 minute appointments weekly so your rates are not out of line. I have done my research and normally find some nice ladies that I repeat with numerous times.

I don't know that it's fair to group all agency girls together. From what I can see it's the local agencies that get a bad rep. On the other hand take MGF for an example, they send girls here from Montreal and consistently send great girls who get great reviews and their rates are competitive.

Mel, I said "some" agency girls not "all". I was not tarring all agencies with the same brush.

FWIW if I read a great review from Carmen's agency and I was attracted to the SP I would make an appointment same as I would with an Indy.

From the review(s) that popped up later this morning, it would seem that Miss CL learned a few good business pointers today. In a tougher market, when you're offering quality, advertising is where it's at. Let the people know what you have to bring to the table, and nothing does that better than a happy, satisfied customer, in this case, a reviewer (a bumped review thread is also good)!

Great to hear from you. Let me be the one to give you a great review. I have used High Society in TO on a number occations. I saw her lady Anna and well she is one of the best. Carmen has been very accomindating. She responds to my e-mails and her follow up is fantastic. She help me with dinner reservations and even the limo I needed that night. If her Girls are as good as Anna I will need to do them all.

Guys you are crazy if you do not hook up with this agency. She puts Carman Fox to shame in Vancouver. I have left Vancouver as my favorite place to play in North America for a reason. The indies are great the agencies have gone to the dogs. I ask for services they don't provide. I ask for a certain look and they show up in jeans and say no one told them. They are late and they don't treat the ladies well. Carmen at high Society is the complete opposite. Carmen don't waste your time in Vancouver. Stay in TO and take care of guys like me. I love your over nights. Oh yea that is another thing I had Anna for 2 hours once I saw her and experienced her I wanted her all night. Carmen did not rip me off she gave me a discount. Now that has never ever happened to me before.

Guys get off your asses and pick up the phone call her to book her ladies you guys are missing out on the time of your life. Or Carmen the next time I am in TO I want to pick up three of your ladies. One blonde, a red head and a burnett. Time for an elimidate. Those guys in Vancouver can cry me a river.

I agree with the poster who said, the advertising timing was off.
It appears that it was only advertised when these two gorgeous ladies were actually in Vancouver (2 days ago?). Guys like to research, read reviews, give it some thought, inquire, and then arriving to a decision of making an appointment.

Most guys usually have an idea of which lady to see for the particular week/month and will have arranged appropriated. Granted, impulse decisions happen, but that's set aside for a rare gem (I.e// their specific type or a special pricing)

It's like any business, do you just open and advertise then? Absolutely not, you are setting yourself up for a couple months of low cash flow. There aren't many people that like to try a new restaurant off the bat. They aren't filthy rich and want an enjoyable meal/experience. They like to go on urbanspoon, yelp, or go to their website. After a couple more thoughts, then they visit.

TL DR,

The only thing that factored here really was the advertising timing. (Advertise their visits in advance, with confirmations near the dates)

- Website is fine, guy's don't really care.
- New Agency didn't factor in this, I noticed when you said "Carmen Loren," Researched = reputable past SP, leading me to Reputable agency
- Girls are fine, attractive.
- Maybe post past reviews of these ladies on your ads on ERSLIST/Perb/Backpage (Guy's are lazy and are like dogs (squirrel? Car? Toy?) - so help us focus)

Why leave home if you are making money in Toronto? There are more people in TO (and surrounding area) than there are in all of BC, my friend. It was an ambitious idea, I am sorry it did not go as planned. Everyone above has some great advice.

and speaking as one who is only able to get into Vancouver once a month, I'll concur what was said above. reviews and advertising is what counts... I have a couple of weeks to do my research and reviews count for a lot with me. rates are fine, and the vid was super awesome.

In my opinion, it comes down to product and marketing. Speaking for myself, when I am searching ads from the local sites (perb, ers, bp etc) I would say 95% of the time it's the photo that lures me in. Since pictures are all that we have to go by I would consider it as important as a well written cover letter you would submit for a job interview. Once I notice someone I would then follow up looking for information from reviews hoping to find out that the photos do match reality, and with at least half decent service. And if there's nothing, whether it's someone new to the scene or touring, if I don't notice any red flags in the ad (from experience), I may be tempted to just book an appointment based solely upon the photos itself.

I've noticed it many times in the 411 section. A new face appears with a nice ad with very enticing photos. Instantly inquiries pop up in the 411 if there isn't any reviews to be found. From there it is my belief that word of this new SP spreads and many await for the first review, finger on the phone waiting for any good news. And its not just with new SP's, established ones with new updated photo shoots have the same effect. Its just my opinion its all in the marketing of the girls your representing.

Usually when I'm searching erslist, I always try to find a review on perb for each ad I'm looking at. Rarely do I toftt because I don't wanna end up seeing crackheads. I am like Dnice where I usually decide to see an sp based on the pictures too. And I'm not sure if anyone else does this but I usually don't go through agencies just because I have to talk to a person just to book a time with an sp. I rather just talk/text the sp directly. Just the way I am is all

out of town agencies don't tend to do well here. miss melody mentioned mgf. they sent a few girls last summer. i saw a couple of them and they were very good. however they didn't seem to get enough bookings and have now basically abandoned vancouver, sticking with calgary, ottawa, etc. i remember they came in at the $300 price point and ended up doing discounts to $250 to get bookings. i think vancouver is getting to the point where there is a plethora of girls who want $300 or above and the pool of guys who can put out that sort of coin is shrinking. i think that's why you have the 1045 agency coming in at $230. vanhotties at $200, and that other agency that ella from vanhotties moved to at $240. they see there is a market there for more middle class guys. 1045 for example has a good selection of very pretty girls, some being ex-foxes who for the most part have a more liberal menu (dfk, bbbj, etc.).

Is that why vic2van stopped coming to vancouver, because of low bookings? They were a reliable agency with a decent lineup I thought.
