Oilers become sellers at the trade deadline!

With a 6 and 7 game road trip on Edmonton schedule, I would find it hard to believe that the Oilers will make the playoffs. What were the schedule makers thinking having Edmonton finish the season with 6 on the road.
In fact, it looks like the West is set, with just the matchups yet to be determined.

I wonder if they would trade a player to a division rival?

Why not, they traded Pronger to a Conference team...not that much different from a divisional team.

I doubt it. There's still plenty of opportunity to catch Minny ( and no they won't catch the Nucks this year).

Since they've got a surplus of forwards and plenty to offer to the right trade partner, look for them to swing a trade for a D-man or two before the deadline
