I think WordPress is a great choice and had fun with it some years back. It was relatively easy to use, fostered creativity, and gave insights about site traffic.
No doubt, the platform has improved a lot since then, and I'm tempted to take another peak.

WP seems to be a happy medium between the Junk that is facebook or those crappy-canned HTML packages, and the fully-bloated complex site editors like Dreamweaver.
Will be interesting to see how you go with it. Please include some pics of Willie : )

I did see that article, actually. Spazzy Baz came from a private cat rescue in Surrey. If anyone is looking for a really well socialized kitty, contact me. Baz has brothers & sisters needing homes, and the lady who raises them needs support to keep doing what she does! :D For anyone wondering if Willie's nose is out of joint...

Not even a little. In fact, we almost had to change Baz's name last night..to Felcher. FUNNIEST thing I have ever seen, was that kitten squirming in delight and (to all appearances) trying to stick his head up the dog's bum!!

Don't you hate it when they do that? You just can't move without feeling guilty for disturbing them. I once took about 10 minutes to get out of a chair; I was moving so slowly she didn't wake up. One of my more memorable accomplishments. :D
