Despite the recent kerfuffles with the new bill, we should still all be thankful that we live in such a great nation! With Canada's birthday coming up, its time to celebrate being a Canadian and everything that is awesome about it! Post your favourite Canadian material: quotes, photos, anything! Be proud to live in such an amazing country!

It is a wonderful country. Anyone who has lived for a length of time elsewhere would know that. There's too much small scale criticism and not sufficient appreciation. Thank you for celebrating Canada on this day!

I proudly fly my Canadian Flag every day of the year.

If I were to ever get a Tat, it would be the Maple Leaf.

Stupid Questions Tourists Ask When They Visit Canada

The Huffington Post Canada | By Michael Bolen Posted: 06/24/2014 2:31 pm EDT | Updated: 06/26/2014 11:59 am EDT

"I've actually seen American tourists coming across the border in the summer with skis on the roof of their cars.

Apparently there's some magical line where winter never ends up here."

Obviously the author of that comment hadn't visited Whistler in the Summer. Despite global warming the glaciers are still there and summer skiing continues. ;-)

I'm considering becoming one of those folk...I have a lot of respect for them!
It can be tough............my wife is one, which is why I'm spending Canada Day alone. Put her on a plane outta here at 0500.

Indeed, compared to the stuff that happens in other parts of the world, what we complain and moan about is small beer. But raise a tall one on July 1st and toast one of the greatest countries in which you can live. Happy birthday, Canada.
