Obama's radical past coming back to haunt him

I am confident that President Obama will be re-elected, with the same popular vote as last time, possibly a small increase. Republican infighting is part of it, but the real reason is that the United States wants to retain its leadership position in the world, and that instinct leads American voters, including intelligent conservatives, to support Obama over any potential rival.

Not surprise that you will see most of this cheap stuff thrown at Obama - actually it serves as the barometer of the US economy. When the economy improves and jobs increase south of the border that when the GOP starts bringing out the authencity of Obama's birth certificate, their Kenya stories, and the super-worned out Muslim connection. Now, Americans you really pop the champagne open and lets the good times roll when the GOP starts calling Obama a Satanist, the Anti-Christ, or a Wiccan. :pound:

Ridiculous....so what? wooo, Obama was an activist...that's how most politicians get started in public service. So what. He stood for helping people...scary.....he wants to get health care to the masses in the US, where even basic health care would bankrupt the average Yank...yeah, that's subversive behavior....watch out.....

Devo, I crown you the ' Silky' of the month.

Obama will win the next election not becuase he's done a good job but becuase the Repubican canidates are horrible. Romney is a blathering idiot, Santorum need's to need's to quite trying to revive the 19th century, and Newt is well, Newt.

The Repubican field is so bad that Obama is the only real choice the US has vs. sticking one of the Republican idiots in office .
I agree that Obama will most likely win a 2nd term despite all of this shite being thrown at him.....the birth certificate thingy makes me scratch my head though as it is enshrined in the US constitution that to be elected president you MUST be born in the USA.

As for the republicans I think Romney has the best shot and I think the US economy would do far better with a self made man at the helm.

Looking at these comments it it obvious that many of you didn't even bother to view the videos before posting or more likely you decided to ignore the relevant parts that support my point.

At around 12:30 of the second video Olgeltree says "we hid this through the 2008 campaign" If there is nothing to this video like many of you say, why would the Obama campaign need to hide it? The obvious answer is Obama doesn't want the public to discover his radical beliefs and associations.

But like Sean Hannity says lets not focus too much on this particular video as they have many more to come. The most compelling videos will be released in the heat of the election this fall when they can do the most damage to Obama.

Please enlighten me as to why you consider any of the two videos links you posted radical. He was a student activist, so fucking scary...

Do you even bother to read the thread before posting? Why won't you and most of the Obama supporters here answer the question that I have now asked twice?

Obama woke up this morning to more important issues than predictable Republican attack methods. :D Come to think of it, he wakes every morning to more important issues than the predictable Republican attacks on color, religion and birthplace :D

However, this morning, Obama woke to the news that an American Staff Sargent had "gone hunting" "bagging" 9 children, 3 women and 4 men dead and another 5 Afghans seriously wounded.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/story/2012/03/11/afghanistan-nato-shooting.html
http://www.cnn.com/2012/03/11/world/asia/afghanistan-us-service-member/index.html?hpt=hp_t1

The Afghans, of course, want the Staff Sargent handed over for Afghan trial and punishment. If Obama wants to win a second term, he can't do that. I'm sure there will be a poll on Fox on the subject, however, previous American reaction indicates that Obama can't hand an American over and expect to win the election.

Clearly, it is time to simply load western troops on aircraft or other transportation and get them out of Afghanistan. They can no longer do any good there.

The riots over the Koran burning are going to look miniscule beside the riots the shooting of children and women is going to cause. If the western troops kill more civilians while defending themselves from rioters, the situation can only escalate.
To bad that Obama doesn't focus his attention on important issues. Instead he concerns himself with Rush Limbaugh and Sandra Fluke.

Again, don't give a shit about American politics never mind Obama supporter but when some idiot is professing to tell us how radical Obama is but refuse to explain it. I have a problem with that. So again, what's is so radical in those videos? In those videos there are also other students present, should they all be labeled radical too? This is guilt by association at its worst.

He was born in the US.

His opponent in the last election (the republican), however, wasn't. For some odd reason the nut-fringe of the republicans didnt make a big deal about that. Wonder why? The real reason was that they couldn't beat Obama in an open election, so they had to resort to a lie campaign to try to unseat him through non-democratic means.

I was reading a couple of recent polls which illustrates a new trend regarding the election the fall. Many voters are now stating that they will vote for Mitt Romney even if he isn't their first choice. Although some feel that Santorum or Gingrich would be a better leader/more Conservative they feel that Romney gives them the best chance of beating Obama.

This trend is something that I have predicted all along. The voters will rally around and vote for any candidate that beats Obama this fall.

So? I don't support either, Obama or Romney or whomever they nominate. Don't really give a shit as it's not really my country, nor as a CANADIAN I have no vote. I'd like to see a POTUS that isn't a religious nutball right winging wacko like the Bush administration who fucked up our chances of peace for the next 50 years. I'm more worried about the political climate and condition of BC and Canada.

So really....what's your point?

First you babble on about how you don't give a shit about the American election or its contenders.
In the very next sentence you contradict yourself by specifying what you want in a President.

If we take you at your word and you don't give a shit about the American election or its contenders why are you on this thread picking fights? Go find someone else to argue with in your pathetic life.
