Interesting read:
By Mark S. McGrew

We know that Obama is a liar about so many things.

The question of whether or not he is in fact, a Natural Born Citizen and eligible to be President of The United States of America, has no importance anymore. The question of eligibility has evolved far beyond that simple question, with such a simple solution, that Obama refuses to provide. The government of Kenya has put a Gag Order on his family not to talk to reporters.

What we don’t know, what there is absolutely no proof of, is his place of birth, his true father or his mother. Without a verifiable Birth Certificate, none of this, including his actual date of birth can be proven or believed.

He shows no loyalty to America and in fact publicly displays his contempt for America. On youtube.com, you can type in the search bar: “Obama refuses to salute flag” and see a video of him refusing to pledge allegiance to the flag and acting as if he is making a point that he has no respect for the American flag.

Michelle Obama is just as arrogant and insulting as the man she calls her husband and has not been a lawyer since 1993 when she was put on inactive status by court order. The State of Illinois says so on their website. Click here then on the top right click on “Lawyer Search” and then type in “Obama” and you’ll find her.

In Hawaii, you can read here: United States Marines and Navy servicemen have no respect for Obama. In an ABC News story, Sunlen Miller says, “The diners were polite, staying seated at their respective tables and waited for the president-elect to come to them to stand up”.

The photo in the article shows that there is nobody standing up to shake hands with him and some have their backs turned to Obama. If those people, trying to enjoy their meal in peace, had thrown their food in that stinking bum’s face with disgust, ABC News could have reported it as, “The soldiers were so overjoyed to catch a glimpse of their Commander In Chief Elect, that like true Marines, they all chipped in to share their Holiday meal with him.”

Obama’s website Change.gov is a fraud, administered by a fund raising company Blue State Digital, an Internet fund-raising company that presided over the Obama campaign site. The “dot gov” is designated and assigned by the United States Government Services Administration to be used only for genuine governent activities. It is not for political campaigning or non-profit organizations which is exactly and soley what Change.gov is for. The only reason Obama has the dot gov designation is by harassing the GSA and thereby obtaining the dot gov designation illegally against Federal Law.

With Obama’s total disrespect for America and laws in general, it is highly suspect as to why he is not already in jail for the rest of his life. Even stupid crimes, he has no conscience about. He, just last year, paid off 17 outstanding parking tickets from when he was in Cambridge, supposedly going to school at Harvard.

Some of the stories about Obama defy belief. And there are plenty of unfounded rumors about him.

I hear so many "Internet rumors" and see so many News sites, web sites and blogs that it makes it very difficult to know what is true and what isn't. That is why I try to limit what I write to things that can be verified fairly easily. Some of the emails and phone calls and personal visits I get force me to not believe anything unless I can prove it. Some "hot tips" are things I've known for years and some seem to be someone's idea of writing a fantasy spy novel.

Besides an atmosphere of arrogance and hostility surrounding his supporters, an unexplainable, incredible amount of controversy permeates every thing about him.

Rumors turn more and more bizarre every day.

Then there is the knowledgeable, open source or occasionally “gray” source, of intel tidbits that hit my desk, from so far, reliable sources that defy reality.

For instance, I was told the other day that it was not really necessary for me to publicize events about Obama because a complete dossier with statements, photos, tape recordings and video recordings of Obama's secret backers has been compiled with the help of over 200 high profile international lawyers, military men, politicians and businesspeople and has been distributed to the intel agencies of some 38 different countries, some of which had contributed to the compilation effort.

What a load of crap, as if Barack Obama's place of birth hasn't been proven. As if the powers that be in the Republican party haven't examined his birth certificate and wouldn't have screamed bloody murder if he hadn't be born in the United States. The fact that the author of that smear campaign even tries to question Obama's place of birth and parentage completely destroys his credibility.

No kidding.
And, believe it or not, using extra large supersize fonts and a deliberately false title don't make it more true.

From an anti-democratic site:

If you go to the website run by the Attorney Registration and Displinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois and search for the record belonging to Michelle Obama (link, earlier screengrab here), you'll find that her Illinois Registration Status is listed as "Voluntarily inactive and not authorized to practice law - Last Registered Year: 1993" and her Malpractice Insurance status is listed as "No malpractice report required as attorney is on court ordered inactive status" (bolding added).

The last bit has caused quite a stir, however a paralegal with Illinois ARDC has just clarified for me that this is not an indication of wrongdoing. Rather, prior to 2000, attorneys who wanted to become inactive had to seek the permission of the IL Supreme Court, and that's the court order being referred to. Since 2000, no such court order is necessary, but prior to 2000 it was. Further, I'm informed that if there were any sort of disciplinary action taken against her it would be listed on that page.

Note that in the record her maiden name is given (Michelle Lavaughn Robinson) and Barack Obama's record is here, including his full name. His status is listed as "Voluntarily inactive and not authorized to practice law - Last Registered Year: 2008".
Surely someone not practising is not going to want to pay membership fees and insurance costs. I mean that's just one deliberately misleading statement in the article; who knows what else is in there.

That is such a load of crap (article) simply meant to smear Obama. The "refusal" to salute the flag was simply him with his hands clasped (which other people on stage were also doing). His wife's "hatred" of the US was simply saying that this was the first time in her adult life she was proud of the government. Can't blame her for that.

I'm sorry but when it comes to politics, foreign policy and foreign knowledge and respect there is a very LARGE portion of the country that is retarded.

If Obama is gonna bring change than think about this. Four times of what was contibuted to his campaign via the people was from Wall st, the same bankers that got us into this mess and the same people that supported Bush because they knew he'd bring on the Iraq war. So If Obama gonna bring change then why do the same people that run Bush support Obama? Republicans and Democrats are two sides to the same coin. They are both controlled from the very top. Ron Paul,Kucinich and Nader have all gone public about Obama not beeing American but you dont hear it unless your lucky to catch it live. Do criminals investigate themselves? And whats Wall st and Congress full of? Liars, cheaters etc......... Lets just have blind have faith and ignore there track record when they present us with another puppet I mean president.

Obama

I dont necessarily want Obama either but those stupid Republicans are so predjudice that they would not vote for a mormon. Mitt Romney was probably the best canidate. Mccain is a nice grandpa but he was not going to win that election. After the pathetic job the current president has done Obama won in a landslide. We Americans elected an idiot two times in a row. What does that say for us? One good thing about it he cant do any worse.

Yep, and it started about a year ago when the dem's started their leadership campaigns.

Obama has played the race card so many times he must have 51 of them in his deck (his only other card is "Change" with no real details).

At least we'll only have to hear about him for 4 years, unless the GOP is stupid enough to run Palin in 2012...

Hopefully they'll have a supportable candidate by then, if they do, they'll win easy.

Same old wine in new bottles - The Obama brand

The majority of the people in the U.S. have struggled, the direction of the country has in many minds deteriorated. Here comes Obama playing on these emotions with a few slogans such as; yes we can, change, hope etc etc but with very little substance to what he says he will do.

Based on his appointments alone you can see that it will be business as usual, namely everything to the rich and nothing to everybody else.

How I Learned to Love the New World Order

Biden, Joseph R Jr.
Wall Street Journal. (Eastern edition). New York, N.Y.: Apr 23, 1992. pg.
A13

Abstract (Summary)
Joseph R. Biden Jr defends his view that the Pentagon's new strategy which appoints the US as a sort of world monitor could render the US a hollow superpower. Biden explains why he reacted the way he did to the plan.

____________

Counterpoint: How I Learned to Love the New World Order
Biden, Joseph R Jr. Wall Street Journal. (Eastern edition). New York, N.Y.: Apr 23, 1992. pg.
A13

Imagine my surprise when a Wall Street Journal editorial appointed me dean of the Pat Buchanan school of neo-isolationism. My credentials? Believing that the Pentagon's new strategy -- America as "Globocop" -- could render the United States a hollow superpower. All agree we need the military capacity to defend our vital interests -- by ourselves when need be. The question is grand strategy. With the Journal's endorsement, the Pentagon has called for a Pax Americana: The U.S. should cast so large a military shadow that no rival dare emerge.

American hegemony might be a pleasant idea, but is it economically, politically or even militarily wise? Bristling with weapons, we would continue our economic decline, while rising industrial and financial giants in Europe and Asia viewed our military pretensions with indifference or contempt.

Defense Secretary Dick Cheney outdid even the Journal, dipping deep into the well of Cold War argumentation to accuse Pax Americana critics of thinking "America's world presence is somehow immoral and dangerous.
" Why doesn't the Journal stop the namecalling, get its schools sorted out, and court an honest debate over America's proper role in the new world order?

Pat Buchanan's "America First" preaches martyrdom: We've been suckered into fighting "other" people's battles and defending "other" people's interests. With our dismal economy, this siren song holds some appeal.

But most Americans, myself included, reject 1930s-style isolationism. They expect to see the strong hand of American leadership in world affairs, and they know that economic retreat would yield nothing other than a lower standard of living. They understand further that many security threats -- the spread of high-tech weapons, environmental degradation, overpopulation, narcotics trafficking, migration -- require global solutions.

What about America as globocop? First, our 21st-century strategy has to be a shade more clever than Mao's axiom that power comes from the barrel of a gun. Power also emanates from a solid bank balance, the ability to dominate and penetrate markets, and the economic leverage to wield diplomatic clout.

Second, the plan is passive where it needs to be aggressive. The Journal endorses a global security system in which we destroy rogue-state threats as they arise. Fine, but let's prevent such problems early rather than curing them late. Having contained Soviet communism until it dissolved, we need a new strategy of "containment" -- based, like NATO, on collective action, but directed against weapons proliferation.

The reality is that we can slow proliferation to a snail's pace if we stop irresponsible technology transfers. Fortunately, nearly all suppliers are finally showing restraint. The maverick is China, which persists in hawking sensitive weapons and technology to the likes of Syria, Iran, Libya, Algeria and Pakistan -- even while pledging otherwise.

The Senate has tried to force China's leaders to choose between Third World arms sales (1991 profits of $500 million) and open trade with the U.S. (a $12.5 billion annual Chinese surplus). Even though we have convincing intelligence that China's leaders fear the use of this leverage, the president inexplicably refuses to challenge Beijing.

Weapons containment can't be foolproof; and against a nuclear-armed North Korea, I would support pre-emptive military action if necessary. But let's do our best -- using supplier restraint and sanctions against outlaw sellers and buyers-to avoid having to round up the posse.
Why not an anti-proliferation "czar" in the cabinet to give this objective the prominence it urgently needs?

Third, Pax Americana is a direct slap at two of our closest allies -- Japan and Germany -- and a repudiation of one of our panel1. Rather than denigrating collective security, we should regularize the kind of multilateral response we assembled for the Gulf War. Why not breathe life into the U.N. Charter? great postwar triumphs. For years, American leaders argued that building democracy in Europe and Asia would guarantee stability because democracies don't start wars. Now the Pentagon says we must keep our military large enough to persuade Japan and Germany "not to aspire to a greater role even to protect their legitimate interests.
"

How has our success suddenly become a threat? It hasn't, but the Pentagon plan could become a self-fulfilling prophecy. By insulting Tokyo and Berlin, and arrogating to ourselves military stewardship of the world, we may spark the revival no one wants.

Secretary Cheney says he wants the allies to share the burden on defense matters. But Pax Americana puts us on the wrong end of a paradox: Hegemony means that even our allies can force ever greater U.S.
defense spending the more they try to share the burden!

Fourth, collective security doesn't rule out unilateral action. The Journal says I'm among those who want "Americans . . . to trust their security to a global committee." But no one advocates that we repeal the "inherent" right of self-defense enshrined in Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.

Secretary Cheney says his plan wouldn't undermine support for the U.N. Who would know better than the U.N.'s usually understated secretary general? If implemented, says Boutros Boutros-Ghali, the Pentagon's strategy would spell "the end of the U.N." Rather than denigrating collective security, we should regularize the kind of multilateral response we assembled for the Gulf War. Why not breathe life into the U.N. Charter? It envisages a permanent commitment of forces, for use by the Security Council. That means a presumption of collective action -- but with a U.S. veto.

Rather than defending military extravagance, the Bush administration should be reallocating Pentagon funds to meet more urgent security needs: sustaining democracy in the former Soviet empire; supporting U.N. peacekeepers in Yugoslavia, Cambodia and El Salvador; and rebuilding a weakened and debt-burdened America.

If Pentagon strategists and their kneejerk supporters could broaden their horizons, they would see how our superpower status is best assured. We must get lean militarily, revitalize American economic strength, and exercise a diplomatic leadership that puts new muscle into institutions of collective security.
