Has anyone seen this TV show? Generally entertaining program that followed NY police on duty in 2002-2003, but this Tuesday's episode was disturbing. They spent an inordinate amount of time and resources busting women in massage parlours and customers of street prostitutes. The shocking thing, beyond the waste of money and police resources was the unbridled glee the undercover cop took in busting customers and possibly ruining their lives. The male cops acted the same way and also seemed to get great delight in setting up women (usually transexuals, for some reason) and acting like immature boys flirting with them, then mocking them. The (female) undercover cop even boasted that it was a great job for male officers for all the benefits of seeing women naked and getting to touch them. What the cops were doing was a lot more degrading than what the massage parlour women and men were doing. The attitudes and behaviour of the cops was disgusting. Made me wonder just what goes on when the camers are not present.
