How in hell would she know it was her client she passed in the hall? It's a hotel, there are bound to be people in the halls. I'm guessing op might have been behaving creepy enough to draw her attention. So she went into defense mode. Seems reasonable. This hobby has creeps and pervs a-plenty, if she gets even a whiff of impropriety, she can - and should - worry most about self-preservation, and the unlucky client comes last. Imho

If the SP gets spooked and bails, so be it, that is her choice. If you want to do some recce before you violate the criminal code and expose yourself to possible robbery, you would be wise. Everybody should work in their comfort zone.
Well it would seem walking around is a no go. I don't know how walking down a hallway after going up the stairs is creepy, but to each is there own I guess. Would have been fine if I waited 10 minutes. I figured I would have been better off being in the hotel, rather than being watched walking in by a potential pimp or whatever. So I just think I was better off is all. My mistake I guess. I've seen numerous ladies and haven't had one flake out the last minute so I'm not too concerned now.
