Non-Pro vs Pro

Well, when one searches the various sites that purport to help you find some company for those lonely nights you periodically see ads from Gents seeking a "NON-PRO" and you even find elusive ad from a lady who suggests she is a non-pro and is offering some form of service.

Sometimes you find the postings in the escort/erotic area and sometimes in the Casual area.

So the question is really simple: How do you define "non-pro" vs "pro" - what criteria or expectation might the PERB community place on a person using such designations?

I notice lots of ladies on craigslist advertise as "non-pro"
One lady in particular, daily for over a year.

Its a meaningless term.

bcneil has got it right, the second you hand over the cash she becomes a pro. semantically speaking, a woman that only advertises occasionally and has a regular job could call herself semi-pro, but a non pro would have to be giving it away to qualify

I pretty much agree with most of what has been said. I think the term "non-pro" means that this perhaps this person is a student, or something along those lines and is looking to see one guy. I know that I myself am in such a relationship and I believe that it implies exclusivity. That said, as others have stated this is not always the case. It's certainly a more common term used in the SB-SD type relationship.
