No pooning= I actually can buy things

I live in the States, I got to enjoy the value of my place almost double from 2000 to 2007. Its not a hugh number but I got to poon a lot and still have money saved. Now that the free ride is over I have no choice but to nickel and dime now. I think a lot of AMPs and SPs in Vancouver will see a downturn once or if home prices come back down to earth.

The micros that charge .4 or lower will survive but the high price gals will get some economics 101 thrown at them fast.

Its funny a while ago, I went to Atlantis in Burnaby I tipped .4 for 45 mins and was called " cheap" " I usally get 200" she says.

Hmm, are you taking the piss, or are you naive? I can't tell... While I've never gone pooning while in a serious relationship, I'm pretty sure that a massive percentage of the guys on this board are cheating on wives/girlfriends. I'm not saying it's right, but this is not the best place to be preaching.

I used to budget $100 each month for a trip to the No.5 Orange. I have been going for five years now. However, after my summer trip last year across the country and into western Europe, I realized how much money I was wasting when I could have a lifetime of memories. Oh and to add to that, I spent two nights in Montreal and realized what kind of fleecing I was getting in Vancouver.

Haven't been back since October, so that's $500 saved, enough to pay off my Boxing Day laptop purchase at FutureShop.

As for the Atlantis girl who sneered at buck forty, she won't be getting many repeats with that attitude.

While a lot of so called experts like to label this hobby an addiction, I believe it is more of an obsession. While the outcomes may be similar, the withdrawal from the activity is less painful with the latter. It took me seven years and the arrival of a good woman in my life to mend my ways. Even if she hadn't come along, I would probably have given up or at the very least reduced my outings significantly.

Life is short. Mine almost ended 5 years ago from cancer. I would rather spend my money now on having a great time with my regulars than saving and gambling that I'm still around in 20 years to retire.
