I'll spend around $500 to $600 a month primarily on my usual massage providers, with a few additional extras.

I am in the same boat. It is either going once a month and spending around 400 for one hour with an escort or two 45 minutes FS visits at AMP for 180 per visit.
I haven't seen an escort in almost 2 years. Almost all that money is now going towards increased housing costs. I see the odd MP, but thats it. Im sure there are many people in the same situation I'm in.
Who the heck are you hiring in Victoria that charges that much? Or are these longer engagements?

It's great question to ask what is our average money spent per month for escort. Sadly, i will not answer the question, knowing that escorts are reading this blog right now and may take this opportunity to adjust their price with this. Altho, i can answer in DM's if wanted.
I can see that if it was the numbers mentioned here that would live the industry, it would be impossible to have what we have right now. To my knowledge, we have 4 escort agencies, bunch of indies and "i can't count that high" of AMP's and just here in Victoria. So, they need money to survive and I can't see these numbers financing all of this. Lol
As mentioned already in this tread, tourism is a big factor and a lot of big wallet peeps are financing this insdustry (and they don't review here). I think this is a major factor of the pricing and the amount of providers.

I think you think a little too highly of yourself if you think that a few posts from random PERB-erts about how much they spend per month will result in hugely increased rates.

-Influx of new “part timers” who need to make extra $ each month to supplement their regular income/student loans
The removal of Backpage and Craigslist has largely eliminated the extremely part time girls looking for a few hundred extra here and there. I was lucky enough to encounter a few gems that were very hit and miss 10-15 years ago. This dynamic seems to have not returned. Perhaps it’s too hard to register, or they are unaware of Leo, etc…

I remember the part time gems back in the day, I would sometimes ask why the ads are so infrequent. One answer in particular was that she was going out the next night for a friends birthday and needed cash. Absolute girl next door 20 year olds for $200/hr very inclusive GFE. Those were the days…. Back when emailing the ad was the preferred method of contact
I have no doubt the extreme attractive women who might have escorted can make decent money on OF, either through subscriptions or the more personalized DMs that garner donations or private negotiations that lead to a FMTY situation
I'm a bit skeptical of that, any chance you have a source? This link suggests the average OF creator makes $150-180/month, and that jives with most (well actually all) the girls I know who've tried OF, which is nowhere near a couple grand a month. It's also a 20% commission that OF takes off the fee which is non-trivial. Maybe that explains fewer "weekend warrior" type SPs, but seems like most SP's who do OFs see it as (at best) a way to get money for a dinner out once in awhile, not as a real replacement for in-person work.
I've also noticed that more and more SPs who have an OF account seem to be posting to OF less and less (i've seen a few who've straight up disabled their accounts, yet continue to work as SPs). There are exceptions of course, but the more common experience from what I've seen is it's less of a viable income source & actually to make anything decent requires a significant time investment in self-promotion.
A big percentage are spending their expenses and time on gyms and personal trainers. Dont worry because they will be back in a month once their new years resolution disapears and they go back to eating greasy takeout, cans of ravioli, frozen lasagna, frozen pot pies, tv dinners and sweets on the daily.
