I thought it was awesome, but the ending was not my cup of tea. It and eastern promises are the best I have seen this year though. Both these movies had awesome badasses. Javier Bardem was so good it was almost comical! I loved the part where he is in the gas station talking to the clerk, so funny lol
Really? I was so disappointed in Eastern Promises, especially on the tails of A History of Violence. The end was nonsensical and didn't fit with the rest of the movie.

No Country For Old Men, on the other hand, had an 'abrupt' ending as well, but it seemed to me that it was much more calculated. Looking back, I can see why it ended the way it did, but I can't say the same for Eatern Promises.

I really thought the theme of characters coping with forces they don't understand or out of their element in the best way they can was amazing. And it illustrated the wanton, indiscriminatory nature of violence in a way I've never seen in a movie before.

Best movie for me this year, by far.

A very wise man once told me it's not always how you meet people, it's how you "leave people".

Although the movie was fantastic overall... I think the movie could have had a better ending.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

I won't give anything away, but what starts off as a good and interesting film with a character you love to hate and one you find easy to root for and one you're curious to see what role they will play in the climax, ends in a MOST disappointing manner!

If you do go and see this film there is a very good chance that you will walk out of the theatre wishing that the Cohen brothers were around so that you could kick them both in the nuts for that ending!

Save your $11.95!

Your better of to see a PORNO,

at least you know someone's going to get FUCKED.
