Still watching or wrapped up in the Raptors ?

Last game was amazing with Bruins dominating physically and scored some great goals too. As much as I hate to admit it, they could get another Cup if St Louis doesn't win tonight.

Tuukka Rask is my choice of MVP throughout the playoffs.

Chara is out with a broken jaw and still wants to play. A football facemask perhaps?

This leaves a big hole with lots of minutes to distribute with the remaining D men.

The St. Louis Blues are a throwback team. Massive defense and up and down offense. Probably the least talented team to make the Finals in a long time.
But got to give them credit for throwing aside my Winnipeg Jets without much effort in round 1.

really? I did not hear about that so I doubt now after with st loo winning last night bruins
will not come back with 2 straight without Chara. Done deal for st loo.
Good on them.

It is too bad as I was really pulling for the bruins.

He played, cautiously I'd say because he wasn't much of a presence.

True he did and I was delighted to sees what team commitment was all about in his eyes.
Bravo Chara, although dangerous for sure. Plus, he must be thinking of how limited his
professional career is at being 42 years of age. He doesn't have much mileage left as a pro
and that has to be going through his mind at the same time.
How will Boston ever fill his shoes must already be a thought going through the teamownership.

st loo sure was a different team compared to game 5. Night and day.
i hope they keep it up. lol. I'd love to see my bruins win the cup.

More interested in the potential Erikson for Lucic trade between the Canucks and Oilers

That was a tough series and being in Boston, I thought the Bruins would win. At least Boston can lose without rioting.

Thing I noticed about the Blues is they don't have any elite stars. All good players at all positions just like Las Vegas. It makes me take a second look at the Canucks hunting for a high end UFA on July 1. Please, not Lucic, his days are way behind him now.

Still the Canucks and Sabres are the only teams from that era without a Cup. One day ......

I think Lucic has way more upwards potential then Erikson given the age factor. Lucic has potential to recapture his glory days with the Bruins.Erikson is a potential contract buyout

right here and now
All this Louie for Milan chatter- it ain't gonna happen. It makes zero sense. Even if Holland threw in Puljujarvi (which he won't) to sweeten the deal still means 4 more years. Sure, the cap hit is the same annually, but Louie has already been paid most of his contract- after he gets another $4M signing bonus on July 1st he has $9M remaining for his final 3 years. Milan gets a $3M bonus on July 1st, then is owed $16M over the next 4 years. These are real dollars left owing. And if Lucic has been blowing on a team and a line with McDavid, why would he be more successful here? Aquilini won't approve it and Benning shouldn't even think about it. At least Eriksson can play 2-way hockey.
We already have a Lucic. His name is Zack MacEwen. He makes about $850k. He fights more and skates better.
Heck, even Antoine Roussel does a better job than Lucic.
If MacEwen doesn't work out then another $1M guy shouldn't be hard to find.

I am certainly happy someone else won the cup this year other than LA, Chicago, or Boston. But I do have to say the Blues are really really bad for TV viewers outside ST. Louis. The absolute least talented team in maybe 20 years to win the Cup outside of the NJ Devils in the Late 90s.
