Anyone here predict that leading up to the All Star Game it would be Jets First, Canucks Second OVERALL.

Not at all, but I thought the Canucks core would be performing at their current level last season which was far from the case. Difference this year is the supporting cast like Hronek, Hoglander, Joshua, DeSmith

I always thought the Jets had the potential to be a good team, always liked their goaltender. But I never expected them to be this good. The Canucks are more of a surprise to me, but the additions, as mentioned above and a few more recently have solidified their defence, they can also forecheck relentlessly, almost looked like they were on the PP at times last night the way they hemmed in the Islanders. The biggest surprise to me is the player that Hughes has turned into. By far the best defensemen to ever play for the Canucks.

Honestly shocked about both. The Jets are just a breath of fresh air this year, and doing it with their top sniper on IR. Simply amazing what depth and a buy in on playing a 200 foot game will do. I'm certainly looking for a dip at some point, hopefully followed up by a return to form prior to playoffs. While not a Vancouver fan per se, i'll be rooting for them as well unless we play each other. I root for all Canadian teams besides Toronto and Montreal, whom i hold a deep hatred for:)

That trade with LA really helped build their depth on their team. They're still winning without Connor and Schiefle.
