Gotta disagree with you on this one buddy.
Yes, pound for pound the players in the NFL are better and they do the game day experience/production very well but as for entertainment value and the excitement of the game the CFL kicks the NFL's ass. And there is more than one NFL quarterback who can't make that wide side throw on a 65 yard wide field the way Bo Levi can.
Most NFL games, with the exception of when Aaron Rogers throws one of his Hail Mary's, are over half was through the 4th quarter if one of the teams has a +7 point lead while in the CFL no lead is safe. While the football purists out there may poo-poo a game where you can drive the field with 90 seconds on the clock, I as a fan watching the game love it.
I have numerous friends in the US who I have turned on to the CFL and with ESPN carrying a number of the games or satellite viewing they love it. When the start watching, they are confused and intrigued by some of the quirky rules (the rouge) but that is what makes our game unique. To a person, they admit the game itself is way more entertaining.
I compare it to watching the Blue Jays versus our Winnipeg Goldeyes. Sure the Blue Jays are the big show and if you are the type of person who can only enjoy watching a game with top end talent then that's fine. But for my money, sitting in Shaw Park on a July evening, with a cold beer, watching our independent AA team score 4 runs in the bottom of the 9th to win is just as exciting and entertaining as any BJ's game I've ever been to.
Cheers

Hahahahaha....that was a good one..
