right behind you!
Thanks for the link...I had no idea flyertalk had Nexus info.

Now, please do tell and be more specific....what do u mean by "your things". Were you physically searched?
On me, it was more of a patting, then a search.... The guy even asked me if I wanted to go behind the curtans.......

It doesn't matter that you might get inspected at the Nexus gate. The point is, it only takes you 2 minutes to get there. Try waiting 3 hours in line, then get pulled over for an inspection!
O trust me I am not complaining about being inspected... takes 5-10 minutes max, and that is only .0001% of the time anyway!

I was thinking about doing the Nexus thing as well as I quite often go to Adult biz trade shows in the States. The problem is I'm worried that my occupation as an Adult content producer might ufairly prejudice me.

Is disclosing the details of your employment a part of the nexus application process?
Take a look at the application.

Too bad for us in the XXX biz

I'm guessing I'd get flagged for sure if I had to put on that form that the last 10 years of my employment history have all been in the porn biz.

A friend of mine was going down to a convention in Vegas once and when they asked him what the ourpose of his visit was, he told the truth.

They said "We have enough pornographers in the US already" and refused him entrance.

Yikes. Did they give you reasons why?

But you guys don't say porn, do you? I mean, officially it's called adult entertainment or something similar. I would've thought your friend would've said he's going to gamble to Vegas and a vacation.

Exactly

Yeah after that episode that's what we all do now, but fyi my friend simply mentioned that he was going to the internext convention. They asked him what that was and he replied that it was an adult industry trade show, and that was all it took.

Now whenever he crosses the border they still give him a hard time, he must be flagged in their computers or something.

That sucks. I've been reading that there is a blonde haired dink (among others) on the US side who loves to give Canadians a hard time, so much that the Bellingham Business Trade of Commerce wrote into to complain to the Department of Homeland Security about these power tripping border guards.
