Newbie Questions - Pooning in the US and staying safe

Hi Guys (and ladies),

I have been lurking here for some time now and want to jump in and ask a few questions. I travel to the US alot and I am wondering if there are boards like this for other areas. For example, I am currently in the Baltimore area and all the boards that I have found that cover this area seem to be heavy on SP ads and light on reviews. I have yet to poon in the US.

My other question concerns the fact that SPs seem to much more concerned about LE. How much information should i share? Also, many seem to work out of hotels here. i am fairly new to this so I don't know if this is the case in Vancouver - from what I can tell most Vancouver SPs have their own incall locations. Should I be concerned about meeting a SP at her hotel? Just want to be careful and not end up getting robbed or being in a sting.

In the US you have a good chance of hitting the LE or being robbed, you are wise to recognize that. Personally, I would not entertain the idea of dealing in this business down there. If you are caught, you face the chance and very much so of being charged, and then barred from the states for several years. They love to catch foreigners like us down there messing around. Chances are less in MP's in many states, but that does not mean there are no LE involved, have read stories of LE setting them up, or sending a in massager to catch users. There may be areas where these gals hang out, and often the police ignore this, but you have to be so careful what you say and what you ask.

And having a blind date visit your hotel room, been burned twice by that many years ago. Not an option. Why not take a friend with you from Canada, much safer.

Thanks for the reply. Care to share the story about the hotel room date.?..honestly I was considering that as a safer option!! I did call a few tonight, many work out of hotels in the Baltimore International Airport area...makes sense. But I had trouble finding one who could speak enough english to have a basic conversation - big turn-off for me.

Baltimore is probably not a good place to jump in to the shark infested poon pool South of the border. Safely navigating these waters takes a fair amount of skill and spidey senses. If you are really set on playing in the US, consider getting your feet wet in the PNW. The support system is much better developed. Or better yet, follow the advice from newatit and bring someone with you on your next trip. If it is someone you enjoy being with, traveling together can be a lot of fun.

RE the comment about getting tagged and banned: take it seriously. They can and will ban you from entering the country and it can last for a decade (or more). If that happens, you can't even transit to other countries, which means if you want to fly anywhere, you can't route through any US city. Makes running away to the Caribbean for a holiday a lot more expensive and problematic.

Just to add to those two other experiences, my mode of operation is to give the gal a close by room number, then monitor what comes up on the elevator. and be around when she arrives if you can. One night in florida, I overheard her arrival, at front of hotel, with a pimp who was vociferously announcing to every one that his girlfriend had been approached by a person in the hotel to offer sex, and he was going to fix it. Stupid, and I avoided the whole issue by not being in the none existant hotel room she was headed to. Had it turned out to be her alone, would have intercepted her at the elevator and carried out the deal. so no way. That was maybe twenty years ago. After that I would never ever entertain an offer in the US unless it came in a certain way, like maybe in a bar and very carefully made, and the gal showed all the signs of avoidance of an issue. Once back in your hotel room, they can talk.

If you work out the economics, it can cost you up to $5000 for a lawyer, plus time off work, plus airfare, plus maybe jail time, plus being barred from the US, so the economics simply dictate that if you really want to play down there, form a relationship with a Vancouver gal who likes to travel, take her with you and pay the reasonable bill. Much less expensive, and lot more intimate and fun. And most SP's in Vancouver who travel can enjoy a few days in the US and are not going to rip you off for the adventure. So if are going to 3 nights, expect to pay up to $1000 per night, airfare up to maybe $600 and meals up to $200 plus taxi and misc exp in Vanc of $200. So budget $4000. If that gets you 3 nights and no hassles, call yoursel Lucky.

I think folks are overstating the risks. Can't imagine what it would cost to bring a travel companion. Plus, to abstain would mean you would miss out on truly world-class SP's that are servicing the fat cats in DC.

I like this suggestion for so many reasons...BUT, where can you find a Companion that will travel for $1,000/day or less? All the ladies I have checked out here seem to charge ALOT more than that. Damn.

For travel, I think you should stick to a lady you have been with several times, and know well.
I can't see taking someone you haven't had a session with to DC.

I generally don't poon when I am in the states. But not for fear of being arrested.
More because its more expensive, usually worse service, and less real than it is here (hard to explain)
Plus I'd rather go a couple days without, then spend thousands to bring someone with me.

Each place has it own page with a map and a list of reviews. From the shortage of reviews I would guess that Baltimore is not really a hot spot for Asian pooning. But then, Rubmaps has only been around for 1 year. On the other hand if one were travelling to California you would 1959 places listed. Could prove very useful with the maps provided.

I guess that depends; they really don't play down there...just a few months ago, a girlfriend of mine got busted in CA. Cops had called and booked a 'massage' appointment with her; needless to say, when her 'client' showed up, my girlfriend was horrified. They took her cell phone and her bag, and she spent a few hours in the police station...she had to go to court about 6 weeks later, and was let go with community hours as her punishment but what drama! Poor thing...she has quit the biz and is traumatized, as this wasn't the first time this happened to her.

Most ladies travel rates are fucked up, long standing pet peeve of mine. One that does not endear me to all of the ladies, except for the ones who agree with me. You have a lady who sees one or two clients per day. That's 600 or 800 bucks at 300 or 400 an hour. When the daily rate is 2 or 3K, that's just a bit crazy in my opinion, profiteering at it's best. If they can get a guy to pay it, so be it, but it ain't me. HOWEVER, if you are travelling to the US, taking an SP with you is outright stupid. There is a whole world of other hot ladies out there, in Texas, the pooning is better than almost anywhere else in the USA. Unfortunately I must go to Texas next month. Would you care to share some info? Mainly what area of Texas are you talking about. That is a rather large state. And what sources?

Hence why reputable indy's in the US ask for references, use Room Service or another verification service. If you are smart, you don't get busted. CL or the equivalent these days, or street action can get you busted. An indy is 99.99% safe.

Well, maybe she's not the shiniest penny in the wallet, but she was an Indy who thought she was being careful enough. And she'd been at this for a few years, so she had quite a bit of experience with avoiding the boys in blue. I have no idea what went wrong, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

I can't believe that...you're just travel companions; that's no different than FWBs going on a Bahama's cruise! No one ever has to know about the monetary exchange...

I agree. I think many SPs would go for an all-expenses-paid vacation to a five-star resort for "free," as long as the client pays for any play time.

Unfortunately I have done this and it turned out to be the worst vacation of my life. I thought I knew her after three years of being her regular and having a handful of dinner dates (I pay for the dinner, no social rate), but not so much. In hindsight, I would have preferred travelling alone. But oh well, nothing venturned nothing gained. At least, that's what I keep telling myself lol.

Did a weekend with someone. Was a great time. However there really wasn't alot of downtime between what we were doing (daytime activities, shower up, dinner, play time, sleep, repeat). I think that makes a difference as well. Alot of time with nothing set to do can lead to boredom which can strain things. Not sure if I'd want to actually travel with someone though, I'm not a huge fan of flying and airports, I'd probably want to arrive a little earlier and pick em up at the airport, so I can be alone during travel.
