Newbie Help

Hello, I have never used an SP before, and an visiting Vancouver in a few weeks. Was hoping to make this my first time and have some fun.

Unfortunantly, without SP references, the more well-reviewed SPs wont email me back. Also, I am reluctant to give out my real name (yet), nor do I want to call anybody (yet), so this is email setup only. I guess I am a bit paranoid about being "outed" and want to be as discreet as I can.

Any advice on how to get this done ? Never guessed it would be difficult to get responses.

Perhaps it is your email. I have learned a few tips along the way.

-its always nice to start with a compliment
-keep it polite, no vulgarities
-write it in such a way that makes it clear that you are not a tire kicker (WOT)
-introduce yourself in as much detail as you are comfortable with
-tell them what about their profile/ad caught your attention and that you are ready to book
-show them that you have read and understand their site/ad
-politely explain your situation regarding lack of references...maybe don't say it is your first time as some SP's may be concerned that you will get gun-shy and no show
-if you can afford it, maybe request a longer booking- many will give longer bookings priority

ReedR, good stuff, agree. My emails have been very polite, and I am doing all you note except the longer appointment time. i was initially worried that I was complimenting them too much and was coming off as a creepy stalker.

i guess I keep emailing and see what happens.

Exactly what Reed said and I agree about the longer appts. You tend to get more notice if you are willing to invest the time with them. I agree about the preferred411, IMHO it's a bit invasive for the average pooner.

See some recognized advertisers here and post a tasteful review if its a positive experience. If it wasn't just move on until you hit it off with someone.

Try to talk to them on the phone and get a feel for the experience in polite terms that you are after. If you hit it off with them see how they feel about being a reference. Caution though, some SP's like to have repeat clients that they feel comfortable with and may not be too happy about losing a client to a competitor. It's like any business unfortunately.

there are many that don't require references - actually most don't. there are many reasons for them not to email you back - not the least of which is we're just coming off the summer season when it's difficult to contact many of the independent escorts

So, uh, another newbie question. This being my first time with an SP, and my (planned at this time) SP being smoking hot, I am pretty sure I am going to pop just getting my underwear off. I thought I read a post on the board suggesting a pre-encounter FAP is a good idea. Like the scene in "Something About Mary".

Thoughts on this ? Seems counterintuitive, and further reduces potential for msog.
