New Year, New Rates, Same Level of Pooning?

Noticed that some indy's and agencies are charging more in the new year.
What are the local pooners thoughts on the changes? Will ya still partake at the same level---who do you think is most justified/least justified? Who has priced themselves out of the market? Who should charge more (not sure anyone will make any suggestions on this one!).

Its not that bad - SU is going up to 180 from 160, Thats no prob.

Never seen Mia so dont know if her rates are worth it - but she has lots of great reviews.

Hopefully rates dont catch up to Vancouver.

Well SU is only raising their rates to match other agencies in town, still very resonable considering their incall location is very high end. As far as indys go I guess cost of living and I'm thinking that becoming more popular with lots of positive reviews etc. will lead to the most well known ones raising rates. Will be surprised if we don't see Vancity rates sooner rather than later. Can't say as I've seen anyone price themselves out of the market as good providers are always going to be busy. Will I still play at the same frequency? Dunno yet, still getting over the Xmas cash drain and missed work in Dec. from couple of colds. I think that all girls should charge what they feel they're services are worth.

A woman is worth what she is worth to you.

The price you are willing to pay is a reflection of what it is you're looking for.

If you just want to get laid, then all you want to spend is $100 bucks.

If you want to spend quality time with a woman that you see & feel something for, you are willing to spend more.

Then there are, of course, women whom might be considered priceless. Does that mean it doesn't cost anything? Duh.

You get what you pay for, basically. And the more you give, the more you get.

But keep in mind that dollars and cents are not the only form of compensation. The more you give of yourself the more you get.

Just speaking from experience. Sometimes the greatest gift you can give a woman costs little or nothing.

Victoria pooners have had it good for a long time, to the extent that it's almost worth going on a trip there just to poon.
I've seen Mia three times on her Vic2Van visits, and she is worth the $$.5/hr (which is an average price in Vancouver for a quality indy.)

I hate to say my business trip to the Island has already fallen through. I haven't (yet) had the pleasure(s) of the likes of Gina or M1A or A.U.D.R.E.Y., but from what I've seen and read here these girls should be stealing a bit of business away from Seattle, if only the Clipper was a bit cheaper.

For me, the level of beauty, safety, service and price it is worth my time and trouble to start planning some day trips to the island via the Coho. Of course that means having to get up at 5am, on the road by 6 to be in Victoria at 10am, enjoy the sites for a couple of hours and hit the Coho for the 4pm return. A very long day for a couple of hours of poonin' but totally worth it I think. The Coho (on my bike) only adds fifty to the trip.

I just hope I can get over there before Mia decides to go into retirement or something, girl you've got me intrigued.

I've seen Mia quite a few times in last 6 months and she worth every cent and more. I haven't seen some of the other girls mentioned yet but hey I'm young and can still get around to it in 2007.

I hope nobody took me the wrong way, I dont think Mia's rates are high at all, Im dieing to see Tianna in Vancouver and her rates are a bit more plus the ferry, and the Fox Den I most definitly have to see. And ya we are lucky that rates are lower just hoping they stay that way.

I have never met Mia but plan on it for sure and since my last meeting was with the lovely Audrey Im still hoping & wondering if they are going to be doing Duos .

Don`t think the duo`s are a go anymore but one never knows. I always thought Gina Lee undercharged for the experience she gave but she was stuck at those prices by market demand. Indy is just that- Indy. Get it before it goes indy if you want a bargain lol! Thats what I did with Bobby bwahahaha

Thanks Sorrow for the observation. I was the first indie to charge $200 an hour in Victoria. I did start at the typical market $160 an hour & raised my prices soon after.....I am also the first indie to charge $250 an hour in Victoria & gents don't even question it when paying.
(if you saw me at $200 an hour, it stays at $200)
For me it is about quality over quantity. I do not want to do assembly line style escorting & never have catered to it. I also do this part time at my convenience.
I go out of my way to make it an exceptional experience with attention to detail. I don't claim to be everyones cup of tea & it is a YMMV but I can guarantee I enjoy what I do or I wouldn't be here.

I believe in the free market and of course the ladies can choose to charge whatever they like for whatever service they are wanting to provide. I think this is the first time I have seen such a simultaneous chorus of increase in prices amongst agencies and indys here in town at the same time. I haven't seen too many offer old prices to previous clients -- are there any that are doing that other than Gina? For the short term I'll probably be less likely to pay new prices for someone I haven't seen here in Victoria and will probably be more inclined to partake in the hobby a bit more when I am over in Vancouver.

Ok my 2 cents worth...

While I have seen Mia and can say without a doubt she was one of my best hobbiest experiences and that was when she was at Vic Eden. I was going to book with her a few weeks ago and she said do you know my rates? When she told me I went to SU and had a great time for less which enables me to do more for less. So what I am saying is you just have to do your shopping as there are planty of wonderful ladies to see.
Mia please when you read this don't take my post as an insult to you.The likes of the quality service you provide could be considered worth it and I will most likely see you agian one day, just not as often as I would regulary like (unless you offer special rates for regular clients?).
However that said I am going to do far more intellgence gathering before seeing a new girl because after you see a girl that was not what she claimed to be and you thought it sucked paying xxx it sucks more when you pay more lol.
So be careful boys and make sure you know where your money is going.... wow I just read that Gina honours her lower rate to regular clients who have seen her before. I have seen Gina twice and really enjoyed her, along with a glass of wine in hand...now she has me thinking of booking with her...

My 2¢ on this indy chicks can charge what they want and as for SU increasing the rates I just hope most of that extra $20 goes to the chicks as I always rounded it up to $200 anyways so if the agency fee is cutting into that cash more it kinda sucks for the girls.

Mia for example. I would be willing to pay $300 for an hour of her time given the wonderful things that have been said about her but I'm afraid she would be uncomfortable with an "old fart" like me, therefore I don't see her.

And don't forget that SPs are independent contractors and they can charge whatever they believe the market will pay.

I am seriously contemplating an incall soon, March/April - I have some really awesome projects in mind.....I miss some old friends in Victoria that prefer a private play place. I would honor my $250 90minutes also.
