Hi folks

I need to replace the tyres on my Civic. The size is p185/65 R14.

any recommendation? My old ones are Firestone, came original when the car was new. ran okay for 100k, not too satisfied with the grip of these. Being in vancouver I am obviously looking for all season tyres with good wet traction.

thx in advance

Go see Victor at TireTown on East Hastings (near Hastings & Victoria). Prices are very reasonable for new tires of all makes such as Firestone or Micheline, etc.

If your just looking for some all seasons, any name brand will do, and have like a 100,000k warrenty/road hazzard then I would just bag some at Crappy Tire on the next sale, which is like every other week.

If your into a more performance tire then maybe National Tire out on River Road, or where I bought mine Tire Trends or Garage Five in Richmond specialize in Honda and Acura.

The second cheapest at Wallyworld. . .

. . . are some knockoff by Kumho? I dunno, but I do alot of hard town miles and these have been some of the best I have bought. I paid less then 170 for two mounted and balanced. They have worn evenly (and I know my alignment is screwed) and not feathered. I bought the cheapest walmart tyres for my ancient old Corolla and they were crap.

Thanks

Thanks fellas I've heard Kumho are pretty good. Where can I find them?

Maybe I will just grab some from Canadian tires. I don't think I need or can actually get high performance replacement with the wheel size I have.

hehe, yeah Tyres, Tires. Cheers mates!
