New rules

Under new rules only the last four digits of the phone number are allowed for identification.

1. Posting links to directories or review boards are not permitted unless they are a Forum advertiser.

I find because there are so many phone #s out there nowadays the last four digits doesn't cut it any more when identifying fakes, I'm getting repeats.

Could the rule be modified to allow area code as well, with first three digits of phone# not permitted?

We need some clarity on this please. Correct me if I'm getting this wrong but are you saying now when we review or seek info on an Sp we only post the last 4 digits of the ph#? No names and no link to their ad? For example "I met with 4321 today..." Problem is a phone number these days is like a fart in the wind. I suggest you revisit these rules as they seem to undermine the ease of using this board.

Also, who are the perb advertisers? I for one just don't pay attention to the adverts.

Changed to area code xxx 1234 and name. This is just a trial to see if it works no one is getting banned or warned if they don’t do it, let’s try and see if it works.
