An update guys:

Everything for this site seems to work for me after I upgraded to IE 11. So upgrade and see for yourself.

Edit: still some errors when replying posts. :)

I just wanted to say that all the weirdness I was experiencing earlier has disappeared. If this is a result of Fred fixing it, I want to thank him for doing so.

Ignore the 'wait 90-seconds' message and avoid double-posting!

So double-posting is clearly still happening, i.e. people are still receiving the dreaded message that they must wait 90 seconds to post, and they don't know any better (to ignore it and not post a second time) so they post their comments a second time. It's so stupid that we're still dealing with this but c'est la vie!

Here's how to get around it.

Create your post as planned, perform the copy function, then go ahead and attempt to post your reply to the thread. If you get the dreaded 90-second message, ignore it, click back on the title of the thread (it will be near the top of your screen, in blue), and see if your post is actually there (it invariably will be). If, for some strange reason it isn't there, you can use the copied version of your post and try again. Chances are you will never need to do that, though, because your comments will have posted properly on your first attempt.

Just sayin...

My goodness! Alex' courtesan and tech support services! Do you offer both services in the same session, or does one have to do a separate booking for tech support?

Haha...my tech knowledge is so limited, I'm sure we could fit it in at the end of a wonderful GFE session and we'd barely go overtime! Thanks for the compliment, but I am undeserving of it! Well, OK, there are a few things I can do around here but I'm not minimizing...there are only a few!

PS Since you brought it up, I can't frikkin believe that the issue never did get resolved! I still have to follow my own instructions above daily!

I think RFD uses the same forum software. It might be current, I am not sure; however, it doesn't have these issues.
