I respectfully disagree.
The reality is that this industry is far more nuanced than many people realize. New providers very often receive mixed reviews in the beginning, not because they’re incapable, but because they’re learning how to navigate an industry that comes with a unique set of challenges, expectations, boundaries, and interpersonal dynamics.
I’ve seen countless examples over the years where initial reviews were inconsistent, yet as experience, confidence, and refinement developed, the quality of service improved significantly. Growth in this industry is rarely linear.
Of course, every client is entitled to their opinion and experience, and constructive feedback has value. However, the assumption that someone either “has it” from day one or will simply “fizzle out” doesn’t reflect the reality I’ve observed over many years.
Time, experience, and a willingness to learn often make a much bigger difference than people think.
That said, thank you for sharing your perspective.
