Good article. It clearly states it is illegal to run a business that sells sexual services - such as escort agencies, massage parlours ect. Has anyone seen these disappear?

Re: agencies… here's a link to my favourite piece of C-36 literature.
It's a blog written by the owner of one of Toronto's premier agencies and it spells their new business stance out well.
I love this woman; she's awesome:

"IT IS ILLEGAL to purchase sexual services. Or communicate with the intention of buying sex. " if that statement is true of the new laws, according to this article, I'm not sure there are any loopholes in the system. And I'm not sure how this is a positive interpretation.

It is a pretty nice presentation of the new law. The big question for us is, what is the stance of the WPS and city Council. Unlike in Vancouver and Toronto, Winnipeg has been noticeably silent while at the same time there have been no reports of any raids on MPs or other place.

On the other board there was a fair bit of discussion on the number of officers assigned to this. Quoted commonly is 2. If the WPS does decide to get active and start busting places, do not let that number fool you, 2 officers for the number of MPs and SPs we have in the city is plenty. If you walk just a few blocks up Yonge St in Toronto you will pass easily twice the number MPs in Winnipeg in that short distance.

WOW! This woman is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable. She makes so much sense, not like the idiots we have running the country. Will never vote again for a consevative.
"To Peter MacKay:
I wouldn’t cross the street to piss on you if you were on fire, even if you paid me – especially if you paid me. That’s now illegal, after all, and jail’s no place for a burn victim".

She does sound like quite a woman! Good point on the part to the clients and their backgrounds. Not all encounters are sex driven. I wonder if that even came up when they were making the new laws?

Here's my Idea if you go to an agency or MP.....set up a checkers board or whatever game you like. If the cops come a knocking sit at the table with the game with whoever you are seeing and claim you were playing Strip Checkers!!

I'm more of a naked Twister kind of guy. ;)
Yea, well that makes more sense doesn't it. I mean how else do you explain how certain appendages are now in certain orifices....

Really officer, I spinned and it landed on green dot with left elbow, how else was I suppose to get there?
