Do you have any inside information or you are just guessing. After the 2nd last raid, I stopped going there. I was outside and had an appointment, was about to go in and then I saw it happened. That scared me enough to back in there again. My advise would be to steer clear for this summer. I believe there will monthly raids if not weekly and eventually some of the place shut down. I believe LE is looking for a lot more then whether or not the ladies have license or not.
Stop making shit upWith the brothel law becoming a strong probability across Canada the dogooders are stepping up there attempts to make things as miserable as they can for the pooners, there have been people with cameras and long range lens taking pictures of people entering and leaving MPs along with thie vehicles and license numbers especially Nevadas even if you are not charged with anything your name could be mentioned in a police report that could become public information to be put on a website later in the year, could you imajine the embarassment and problems that could cause an individual I am thanking my lucky stars that I quit going to Nevadas over a year ago
Since they are not allowed to have locks on the doors its also likely that warning systems are prohibited as wellVideo monitors at the front and back doors along with a warning light in each room. Maybe a few more raids, a drop in business and Eric will clue in.
Cheers
A good thought so I checked and there are no prohibitions on the use of cameras.Since they are not allowed to have locks on the doors its also likely that warning systems are prohibited as well
I agree! Lets get a grip!Stop making shit up
So there is some dumbass with a cellphone or his Nikon with telephoto lens across the street. His photos mean nothing and could consitute a substantial slander suit against him. This type of thing has been a common tactic of certain neighborhood groups or individuals to try and scare customers away in pretty well every jurisdiction in North America. I'm not a lawyer and not about to quote case law but in pretty well every case involving a legal business such as Broadways a compliant to police from the business owner has shut them down and been upheld by the courts. So whats made up its obvious that they are stepping up tne raids, I have personally seen a man standing across the street from broadways taking pictures of people entering and leaving
That's different. While such a website would still likely be shut down and it's owners subject ot a civil suit, street prostitution is illegal or atlest the activities involved in street prostitution are. MP's are legal businesses, licensed by the city. Yes they are subjected to "inspections" (ie; raids) but they are not illegal.Like I say its your ass not mine its just discussion, if you remember back a few years there was a group taking pictures of license plates of pooners cruising for sws and posting them on the internet wish I could remember the website, it would be very hard to sue somebody for posting your picture entering Nevadas if you do not know who it was
This is an honest question: what would be the basis of the slander suit? Hypothetically, if someone made a website that just showed pictures of people going into the, as you said, fully legal massage parlour while referring to it simply by the business' name, that just seems like a statement of fact. What would the problem be?So there is some dumbass with a cellphone or his Nikon with telephoto lens across the street. His photos mean nothing and could consitute a substantial slander suit against him.
Too many threads at one time on Nevadas. Anyone opening an 'ancient' thread should be sent to perbatory!!!! :fear:- - - - - - - -
Regardless, this thread is getting away from the original topic and maybe we should agree to disagree, take a u-turn and get back on topic.
Cheers
Who do you think pockets the fines!!! The monster, not the gimp. What makes you think Belinda is any better than Eric?
I have no idea. I tend to not want to get that involved in the financial workings of Nevadas.Who do you think pockets the fines!!! The monster, not the gimp.
