I watched "Black Mirror". It's a real out there show but it references pop culture and what we are as a society. I did 2 episodes. I'm not sure what I think yet. Episode 2 was a little easier to swallow than Ep 1.

15 Million Merit Points, Shut up and Dance, Hated in the Nation, White Christmas, The Entire History of You are IMHO the best ones but its all a matter of personal conjecture. Most people I know love the series but a few hated it.

One good thing about Netflix: I can see movies that I am curious about but would never pay for.

Counting down until Archer returns.

I'm finding the content to be a lot better these days in Canada. Some of my friends down south are using netflix.ca rather than the USA version.

One I recently re watched was Trainspotting in prep to see the T 2 in the theatre now.

Ha! Looking at that scenery reminds me of me and my brother lost in the Scottish countryside looking for a bed and breakfast.

I think the content has been improving in Canada for film and music since the 90's. I think we notice it more because the current ecosystem for film & music allows the average citizen to explore outside the mainstream. Years ago the saying was if it was a Canadian TV show, film or music, it probably sucked because it did suck. The quality that comes out of Vancouver (film, music, TV) is world class.

I do have to say that it varies on what you are looking for. Superhero movies etc are more available in Netflix Canada but not as much in the US. I think at one point, they had Doctor Who in Canada but not here in the states.

I watched and enjoyed daredevil and Jessica Jones but have seen Luke cage. Iron fist was truly disappointing and the critics seem to feel the same. I am starting up House of Cards and am enjoying it quite a bit though so that may be good.

I like House of Cards and I think it's a great show, but I can't watch it. I hear enough about politics on a daily basis and just can't sit and watch it on TV. It's a remarkably accurate show & I once saw them reference a well know political hacker in an episode. I found "Homeland" through Netflix too. My problem is I just don't have the time to watch stuff on a regular basis.

I just wish they'd have Parks and Rec for Canada =.=

Yeah, I get the feeling but I have found it to be quite intelligent, which is nice. I wish there were a bit more mindless yet clever shows like Leverage and White Collar around. They were easy to watch and quite enjoyable.

I binged watched Schitt's Creek this past winter. I had never watched it on CBC but Netflix was a good way to speed through the seasons without advertisements.

It's light, funny and the characters crack me up. Catherine O'Hara and Eugene Levy play off of each other so well.

I just can't get into that show despite seeing a bunch of the episodes.

Saw Logan today. Man *SPOILERS* I went to watch Wolverine dice up some people, I didnt go there to feel... *cries manly tears*
Kaleo, who did the music in the 2nd trailer, is going to be huge:

A fine swan song for Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman. Not often the 3rd movie in a trilogy turns out to be the finest.

Started watching the new Sherlock Holmes with Bilbo and Smaug. It is brilliant. So many little details that they get just perfect.
Will binge watch them all this weekend.

For those who like Zombie movies, "Train to Busan" is a very good South Korean movie and it is available on Netflix!

Check out Departures on Netflix. It just returned. It's a travel show and runs 3 seasons. It's excellent.

I recently saw Ghost in the Shell. Its serviceable. Its accessible to newcomers and disappointing to hardcore fans, but you won't be bored.

I KNOW RIGHT?! Goddamn Marvel, like we needed that right now.
Well, we're only a month away from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 to cheer us all back up (and Spider-Man: Homecoming this Summer!) :D

As for Netflix, I watched the two Dave Chappelle stand-up specials the other night and LOVED them. Also recently watched the Hot Girls Wanted doc and actually thought it was pretty good. I believe a short doc series by the same producers is either up now or will be soon.
