Firstly, labels are tricky: "Escort", "Pro Domme", etc. Rather than getting tripped up in labels just focus on what you do and do not want in a session and ask a specific provider if they do or do not provide those specific services.

My two cents worth

Before I begin this post, I want to give a disclaimer that: a) I am still a newcomer to BDSM, b) I have only sessioned with Mistress Dominique twice, c) I have done a large amount of background reading on BDSM, and d) I have had discussions with Mistress about her approach to her craft. Most importantly I have first hand ‘real’ experience with Mistress Dominique, thus I feel I am qualified to give my honest and objective assessment about her and her work.

I saw Mistress Dominque awhile back. Very recently I was in contact with a friend of hers and I can tell you that Mistress is NOT an escort.

Mistress Dominique may have a sadistic side to her but I have not seen this aspect of her in my past two sessions (not my particular fetish/fantasy). Like many Dommes, Mistress is human and I believe that she would participate in sessions that she can enjoy and that it fulfills the desires of her subs. It’s absolutely essential that a sub do their homework when seeking a new Mistress. But nothing will substitute direct communication. These days there is a wide range of services that a ProDomme can or will offer and each is Domme is different. Some are much more liberal in their services offered (this is in reference to sexual activities), while others are more traditional in what they offer. Read their websites with care as many put a lot of time into the details of their session with emphasis on likes/dislikes. For Mistress Dominique, her website says she offers BDSM & fetish play but not sexual services.

I’ve done an extensive search of providers in Vancouver and found that there are some Dommes that engage in dual ‘escort/Dominatrix’ roles and offer a host of services that span both of these areas. Similarly, there are a few escorts in this city that offer BDSM and fetish play. I do know that some feel that an escort should only offer escort services and Dommes should only offer BDSM type services. Personally, I don’t think there is a right or wrong way as long as you choose what is right for you.

As far as her physical attributes, the pictures on her website are an excellent and accurate representation of Mistress Dominique – actually if I had to be critical they don’t do her justice.
