Have to agree on going to relax fit instead of straight cut. Might consider trying out Mark's Work Warehouse Dakota brand. Mark's had odd number waist jean sizes which i wanted was 33 and the price was great too. They have the best waist and leg size selection that i've ever found for jeans and didn't break the bank.E - stay away from the straight fit then. Go for relaxed or even the loose fit from Levi's
At least her spending keeps the economy going. :nod:When you retire from SP'ing and get a job in your chosen field, let us know then how many $500 pairs of jeans you own
And by definition we too as pooners are keeping that fire stoked.BDS...even if she didn't spend the $500 on a pair of jeans but instead spent the $500 on other things, it's "still spent" and keeps the ecomomy going
Hhmmm that's a good suggestion. Yeah I'm finding the places I've tried the last few times for jeans (CK Outlet, Boathouse) the jeans don't really last. Well see how it goes. ThanksA lot of the guys I know who work out and have bigger thighs seem to do well in Diesel Jeans. You can buy newer styles full price at Below the Belt and Boys Co or find older styles at Winners or Nordstroms Rack. I also know another guy with a similar body who loves buying Guess jeans. Not sure about styles....I'm assuming most go for a relaxed fit....?
I occasionally have a hard time finding jeans or shorts. Sometimes I'll find jeans that fit my hips, thighs and bum but they'll be too loose in the waist.
For the ladies with similar dilemmas - I've found for me that True Religion, Paige Denim and Guess jeans seem to fit me best. Basically anything with a lot of stretch to avoid needing alterations. They hug the curves nicely![]()
Yeah I'm looking for relax or loose, though I'm not really looking for something that looks like one of those pants you see teenagers wear that hang off their ass ha haE - stay away from the straight fit then. Go for relaxed or even the loose fit from Levi's
Depending on your budget - you can find a good selection at Hills (Kerrisdale) and they usually have stuff on sale there too.
If you ever get a chance to go to Seattle - Nordstrom Rack has most of the designer stuff (Joe Jeans, Diesel, 7 for all Mankind, True Religion) anywhere from $69 to $99
Stay away from places like Brooklyn which tend to carry a lot of the slim fit ones.
Staccato in Kits has a sale on - you might try there and I think Mark James might still have their 50% sale - not sure.
If i had type of money I'd be pooning all the timeHarry Rosen in Pacific Center ... You will find what you are looking for and have great customer service as well

Well I'll go look around tomorrow. I don't really intend to spend more than a $100 for something I might only wear once or twice a week. Assuming I get the new job I'm aiming for.I buy a cheap pair of jeans for 50 bucks they last me a year. I have bought a pair of 300-500 dollar jeans and I still wear them 5 years later and they still have not faded or fallen apart. When I shop at cheap stores thats what I get cheap clothes, that fall apart in the washing machine.. I still shop at these stores but I don't plan on these clothes lasting me more then a year or two. Thats just my personal experience. If I want something that will last me forever I splurge.
Zara has good jeans fair priced, Armani Exchnage has jeans ranging between 80 bucks -200 bucks. Boysco may be a bit more expensive. You can buy a pair of jeans at harry rosen for as low as 140. If you want a good pair of jeans that will last you forever invest a little more and I promise you will save in the long run and save yourself the hassle of having to do this once a year. Guess Jeans has good jeans too, ranging between 90 bucks and 180.
Hope that helped out a bit ...

Ever try Mark's Work Warehouse Dakota Relaxed Fit Denim???...waist size range from 28-58 and leg length 28-36.Doesn't matter if they are $20 or $500. If they don't fit you then they're shit. For myself I have the bulkiest legs so I just look for whatever fits as opposed to cost. In addition to being wide(waist=42), I also have the problem of being short(5'7") so big&tall stores are my thing. Mostly try to keep the price range at a max of 200 before taxes. And it's a lot easier for me to shop in the states cuz more fat people.
Fortunately most people here don't have this problem...
