I want to do a lot of text messaging.

7-11 phone is the best deal out there in the market. No fees, cheap text messaging and airtime that lasts upto a year.

Any no contract plan; your phone won't be subsidized so, the phone will cost you more than with a contract. Fido offers $25 unlimited text (in/out), 100 anytime minutes, with unlimited evenings and weekends.

Unless you mean "pays as you go" where you have to buy phone cards to add talk/text time. Rogers is probably the best cause they offer $100 phone card that last 365 days; unless you use it up before then. Going this route, you get talk, texting, caller id, simply voicemail, etc...

i have the telus $45 plan too and it's awesome. the phone itself was only like $50, too

What's the rate per minute above the 100 minutes included?
