Well as luck has had it, my current day spa r&t provider is taking a break. I've to been to places on Victoria Drive, Main Street, and a couple downtown (Hornby and on Robson) but basically not willing to repeat on any of them.

My last experience was in Kerridale which I have posted and will never go back.

Any recommondations of a day spa on the westside of Vancouver? I just need a good massage with a little extra.

Cheers

You might try Stress Away Body Care on Broadway. There is only one girl there, Lisa. She is older, maybe 35, and petite but has a great rack.

popped by Fern's earlier in the week and currently only the white-haired lady (is she Fern?) is working. Said her other girl quit so she's the only one. I declined and left.

Lisa 35 ? Haha sorry but no. She's a lot closer to 50 than you might think  In fact she might have been in her 30s the very first time I went there in the early 90s .... so do the math !

Fern's ...... had the odd gem or two in the past few years, but otherwise is mainly a WOT, not to mention Fern (grey-haired Asian owner) charges $40 for 30 mins. WOT and WOM.

near Kerrisdale

Try Monica Beauty Massage Spa at 41st & Granville; I usually get r&t with DATY for $ (45 minutes). Front door entrance only, and a couple of bus stops in front and across the street . . .

And I have to agree with Kato, Lisa is over 50; and it is closer to $.4 (for me, anyways); I do miss Monique who worked there, what is it? a couple of years ago.

Regent Beauty

Stop in Regent this morning, seems pretty legit. Had a decent massage with minor teasing and when it came to the flip nothing offered. Now I have to say I was just enjoying the massage and the tug would have been the added bonus but I do have to admit that I didn't ask for the extra, I am so use to them asking me, not the other way around. Times up, got dressed and got out. I will repeat for the location, the massage was good and girls seem attractive enough.

Thanks to those who PM'd me and posted a reponse.

Beauty Salons to review or not to review

It has been baught to my attention in a previous post, that places such as BR , HSDS, MB, FS, ZS, LI, BP,QW and all thoes other legit SPAS?, on the Granville , Main, Cambie, Fraser, Victoria Dr, Kingsway, Broadway, Coquitlam, Richmond and North Shore areas, are not to be reviewed. And now I see this review, Yorkie you were right not to ask, its all about body language, in most of these places, except for the more longer term employees that have broken out of their shells and move on to the next level of service. Some places are more suttle than others.

I agree

I don't think it would have been wrong to ask though. It's a simple honest question
It does no harm to ask politely if there are any extras on the menu. Some do offer it but are hesitant to come out and ask themselves for fear of being busted or "outed" within the shop. If they do not offer extras, all they have to say is no.

I also agree that the shops who wish to appear legitimate should not be publicly reviewed. They can be reviewed by PM however, just ask.

If you are willing to drive to Richmond, check out Sarah`s massage. Shes super nice. Find her in the therapeutic section.
