I open up and email the other day from a co worker, and it was a link to a go fund page for his son, so I could help pay for his tuition.


I really don't get this shit, people want help money for everything for travel for sports education, yeah some of it is medical bills and there was a sudden death or fire etc, that makes sense to me.
but even that, medical insurance etc. or just suck it up.


I remember a day when the cops came and took my father away but yeah there was no fucking food in the fridge,, no one gave a rats ass about me and mom.
yes he should have been in jail, but what they fed him in jail.


I had cancer, was on chemo missed six months work, I started selling off everything. my car my stereo no one worried about whether my kids were eating. not even my dam family.

some body was telling me so and so likes to run marathons. it costs like a couple of hundred bucks to enter, a lot of people who run marathons tri athlete's iron men competitions, they fund me pages so they can pay entrance fees and travel expenses.
some of these people actually have money to pay, but why spend your own when you can spend someone else's.

some one hit me up not long ago for money so they could quit work and study there art.
shit I like to water color but work full time.

I guess I'm old school. I pay my own way, and take care of my kids and family, even in death.

so far I have paid for 4 funerals in total or part.
there is even fund me pages to help pay for funerals

Yes seems to be a thing with the internet now I have noticed people as I have mentiond in another thread most often atractive women in there 20s who call themselves you tubers some of them get money from advertisers for this if they have subscribers over a certian amount

There are go fund me pages for prety much everything As you mentioned . Most of the time it is just a scam to get money .

There are also cyber begging pages where the cyber begging company takes a portion of the donations. That you get for you to be on there cyber begging websight . Lots of people have a donate now button on there websight where you can click to donate any amount not to a chairity but to them .
yes you could set up a" cyber begging petion or a go fund me page to give you money to spend on a sp . One cyber begging websight had a lot of cyber begging petions that were a joke . There was a petition allegedly from Charlie sheen to buy him more cocaine and prostitutes and it did have a link to a pay pal acount that you could donante money to it

However if you do decide to have a page for a go fund me cyber beging etc. For whatever reson before you put a link in this forum you would have to pay for being in red as you would be advertising a service.

Its because of the internet, its easier now to ask for money hiding behind your computer, especially from thousands of people at once, and strangers. It removes the awkward barrier and makes it more acceptable. The things you talk about sound like it happened in the 80's, 90's, 00's, when the internet wasn't this big...things are different now. The thing thats cool is the kickstarter campaign to start a small business idea, and of course I like how people who are stuck with almost millions in medical bills down in the states can get help too!
