My visit with Nadia

I just got back from visiting with Nadia for about an hour.

Her left cheek is a massively bruised. I have not seen colours like that since playing sports many years ago.

She moves very slowly and is obviously on medication. I have seen people who have been seriously injured, and she is one of them.

During the course of my visit Indy Isabelle arrived with financial assistance, as well as a fellow perb member who brought two gifts and an envelope.

I have seen Nadia in the past and did not believe that she was making this up. I took over some money to help her out. The fellow perb member had never met Nadia but was moved by her circumstances to visit. In my books that makes him a very good man, and I told him that.

Nadia showed me the card of a VPD member with an incident number written on the card. I did not memorize it but even if I had I would not post it.

I accept that she was assaulted. I appreciate others may want more proof, but I think it would be appropriate to keep any speculation and arm chair detective analysis in check. It adds little.

I anticipate that Isabelle will post about her visit.

Thank for posting that buddy. I have never met the lady and have no idea what she looks like but we chatted in Perb chat a number of times about a year ago and she seemed like a very genuine and sincere lady. I hope she heals quickly. I feel so bad for her. I thnk it is admirable of you to respect her privacy and not post personal info. She does not need scrutiny, she needs time and space to heal and the support of friends to help her get past this.

Who is the asshole who had the heart to have sex with a woman who just had been beaten up and raped like this??

I can vouch for Stew, what he wrote is exactly true, as I was there and had the pleasure of meeting Nadia, Isabelle and Stew for the first time. Nadia's post really touched me of her ordeal that she went through, and I did not believe it to be fake for one second. So all you doubter's take it to be true of her story and show some compassion for her.

I would like to thank you Stew for the kind word's that you said about me. It's people like you who gives me faith in humanity, who is there willing to help someone in need.

I would also like to mention Isabelle, for helping Nadia out financially and there for moral support. She truly is a very good person for stepping up to the plate and helping Nadia out in any way she can.

Im very saddened to hear its real, obviously, because thats just terrible for her.
I feel my only reason for doubt (and others as well) is we're all, a little jaded, so to speak.

:(

Those who have helped her thus far, are amazing.
I too will to what I can-I haven't been doing this for a very long time, but I have a family member who has and she got very, very hurt on the job... and it was awful to see.
I can only imagine how Nadia feels, and how those who are close to her feel.:(

I trust you are trying to be witty? After all ... a few visitors came in (Isabelle, perb member) .. so I think they were chatting not banging!

Thank you for helping to show other Perbites the truth.
I stopped by at Nadia's at 12:30pm to drop off the donation I would have given her for 2 sessions, had she been working.
It was the first time I'd seen her this year, and I could sense how self conscious she feels about the bruises, and she's obviously heavily sedated.
I was on my way somewhere, and in a hurry, so I just gently hugged her and left.

Nadia is going to have relive her ordeal should the accused go to trial.
Sexual assault cases usually end up putting the victim on trial as much as the accused. She really didn't need to have a few insensitive pricks on this board (and even more of them on the "other" board) trotting out their misogynistic tendencies.

No, she said "car accident" to the client to explain her bruises and stitches. She didn't want to tell him about the rape and torture, so Nadia fibbed to make him feel better about the session.

Nadia, I am serious. You should see a therapist as soon as possible to work on this issue.

You have not only been raped, robbed and beaten TWICE in a row, but AFTER that you have seen a client who - as you said - doesn't care if a girl he is having sex with is bruised and black and blue.

You seem to have a serious issue here. You have to learn to be less trusting. What if the animal you saw when you were beaten had done the same thing to you again?

Seems like you haven't learned from the two incidents, and I am urging you again to see a professional therapist, especially for your child's sake.

Friends' help only goes so far, YOU HAVE TO HELP YOURSELF.
